Avinash - very well said, actually you have to be much more than a BE in any field, it only gives mere intro. These days new artists are going after being a celebrity first and artists after... maybe media is forcing them to. Its easy to sing other's songs but gaining maturity and being creative happens very rarely. Jazim Sharma was the only one from his lot who had great potential and even he is struggling with creating something on his own. They all choose to be performers because it gives them fame and money, and they can't be blamed for that either.
No change after 11th. you have continue till you complete BE in any chosen field. then you will have the world open to you for further research in Music and its effect on human life etc. etc.
