The Book of Philippians can be summarized as focusing on the themes of Christ in our life, Christ in our mind, Christ as our goal, Christ as our strength, and joy through suffering. It was written by the Apostle Paul, likely with the help of Timothy, during Paul's imprisonment in Rome. The main message of the book is that Christ is our source of strength and joy, especially in times of suffering.

I know many of these verses by heart so it is easy for me to listen and understand. If a person is new to the Word I would recommend listening to the “voice only” version until the Word is etched into the heart.

Sometimes music over rides your voice on TV
The music overrides the scripture. I think it should be half the volume. It’s almost like the Scriptures on the background. And I’m looking to listen to the Scriptures. I really like the eight hours. I was really happy to see the repeating of this book. Thank you so much.

Depending on what you’re listening to. On my iPhone scriptures are more defined in on my TV and seems like it’s different.

Girl, there are PLENTY of scripture only (no music) opinions on UA-cam and other social media outlets. You don't like the music you have the God given free will to move on.
Abide has no music scriptures
Music is too loud and distracting. The man reading the passage does it nicely but the music nearly drowns him out.
