Meanwhile, Griffin (Alexis Floyd) and Adams (Niko Terho) argue and then kiss, and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) watches with her family as a fire caused by a lightning strike changes their lives. Remember S1 Meredith who wasn't really happy to live in this house, and now S19 Meredith who is willing to go but heartbroken to lose the house she never wanted, this house became a haven for all the loners, they change it into a beautiful place.
Honestly, Shonda loves to kill characters, the house felt like one.
She shows reality. This realistic. In life ( well at least mine) things are hard & you don’t get to get a clean break. I appreciate the realness. Sad to see the house burn. Plus, it was an unexpected character. The house is a character. Both homes were, even the one in the woods. This one was just safe haven to all. 😢

Greys Anatomy needs to recognize Carina waaay more, and by recognize I mean to actually give her a storyline with much more screentime where she is not just cast off as a side character - she is much too important for that. I really miss her on the show, her strong, wittyful, caring and amusing spirit is really missing from the show and has been for a few seasons now

@Javan Smith Absolutely love that show, but I wish there would be more Carina on Greys Anatomy as there would be more storylines with her at work and being around her colleagues, friends, and patients, as well as a storyline that does not just depict her as Maya's wife
That’s why I love her in Station 19 because she has much more screen time!
I am going to miss the house. Even if it is rebuilt, it’ll never be the house where Lexie, Izzie, George, Cristina, and countless others lived throughout the seasons with Meredith. So many memories happened within those 4 walls. We really are at the end of an era, and when Meredith leaves, so must I.
It's not the same house already, they changed it in season 17, for covid.
@@noashom actually, they remodelled in s12 when Maggie and Amelia moved in. And I think Alex might’ve done some work when it was his house. Besides remodelling isn’t the same as a complete rebuild. Sometimes you have to update your house. It was still essentially the same house with a few adjustments to account for the extra inhabitants.

The house was the embodiment of their love, the post-it was its heart. Tears me up to see it burn down and go, but the memories will always remain, and the post-it will always remind Mer of what she she had, was she always will have that no fire can take away. Hugs, Mer.
I know it’s just a show and all of this is fictional but it’s still sad to see someone’s house being burned to the ground. And you can really see the shock and sadness on Meredith’s face. In the beginning, she didn’t like this house and I’d even go as far to say that she hated this house. But over the years, so many friends and memories were made in this house so not only to lose it because of her moving, but also to see it physically lost is just saddening.
I don’t find her very emotional. Sad yes but with totally no emotion it’s strange.

i know she’s on station 19, I love the show, but she’s still a doctor and it’s hard to see her doing her job and being amazing at it when the show is about firefighters. Her helping out in the walk-in clinic every few episodes doesn’t do her character justice. not when she’s an amazing obgyn and researcher.

They've done the childhood flashbacks on all the characters there and shes one of the few left, plus she's working on starting her own clinic, which will provide a "new" location setting that isn't the firestation, Dean's place, Joe's, and her home with Maya.

I think it shows that greys anatomy MAGIC basically are gone. They all either died or left. That house was a place where every1 lived atleast once. Except Bailey and Weber who r still in the show🤣.

God, that would hurt so much. I'm widowed too and I also lost my mother. If my home burned down and all that I have left of them was lost in it, I'd be devastated. Everyone was safe so that's of course what's truly important but still... that would hurt

I'm sorry but they really are writing way too much stupidity into Gray's anatomy why burn her house down keep it as the core of where people go to live and gather and come together even having her leave for Boston makes zero sense pretty sure that Seattle has schools for gifted people also
It makes sense to me there is nothing left to hold her to greys anatomy and she is free to go and the chains that were holding her down are gone, and she can still take a piece of home with her
@@nata3467 Zola was going to a school for gifted kids, but it wasn’t the right fit. And they’ve looked at other schools locally and around the country. I mean if you have the resources, why not find the best school for your child?

There was a season where they had to cur a lot of costs. I believe that clinic was a victim
We have moved onto abortion issues now. We have done Black Lives Matter to Covid and onto abortion. Denny died along time ago😢

To all that keep missing the point, this one of the last shows on TV that shows realism. I relate because I am a healthcare worker, I’ve had a lot of loss & I fight for many injustices. This show is more than a show it’s a lesson teacher of life. They aren’t killing anything that doesn’t truly happen in life, they are opening eyes. Young college students, teens and people that obviously don’t experience things like this, they watch it. It changes them. I appreciate the truth in it. Unlike other shows.
I used to feel that way. But now it feels like too many traumatic things for a person, and it makes each trauma actually seem smaller like they're not treating it as a big deal. Like Meredith had an ex who was brutally murdered, which in real life would be enough to traumantise you even if it was the one traumatic thing that happened in your entire life. And here it's just one more thing of a million.

Sorry, lost my father at 7, was in the hospital at 2, live with a chronic illness, lost two best friends & a brother, mother had cancer twice, lost a child to a miscarriage and many more things I care not mention, so no it’s not too many hard things happening to one person. I’ve had several surgeries. Just because your life hasn’t been this way, doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to others. Be careful saying things like this to people, you never know when your lesson is coming. I am very similar to Mer. Almost lost my life on several occasions, so no it’s not too many things happening to one person. I know several other people that have been through just as much. Like I said one the few somewhat realistic shows left.

That clinic hasn't been used since they closed it down, because the money ran out, plus Izzie isn't there to keep it running as a Denny clinic anymore, I understand what you are saying, but this is the perfect name for the new clinic which they are now using to help women who's doctor refuse to do abortion for at risk mother, it's not a regular clinic anymore.

The old clinic got closed because they had financial problems, in the hospital I think.

This is another topic hahaha, but I been thinking and... Something that ABC should bring back, is the relationship between Amelia and Carina Deluca, as platonic friends, of course. We saw some moments with their together at the beginning of season 16, but we never see interacting again. I love Marina shipp I crazy about them, but cʼmon Carina and Amelia have all to building up a wonderful relationship as friends, if they keep a little closer in Grey's Anatomy, add more drama, and more rating, add more problems or something spicy at lest between Maya and Carina. Just think about it hahahaha. 👀😏🤭 I repeat, I really love Marina shipp, and Amelia with Kai, but cʼmooon we know that they can have one of the most wonderful chemistries, their characters match, is that simple. And sincerely, I miss Carina/Stefania in Grey's Anatomy a lot! 🥺
Glad Meredith is finally leaving its long over due. Besides her mentors all her close friends are dead or grew into their own careers and left the nest. It's Meredith's turn and her chemistry with the show isn't the same. It's nice she has her sisters but it's not the same chemistry as the original 5 interns from the beginning. Maybe Meredith needs to leave single and happy because she's strong enough too. Her and Ben don't have it.

What the heck 😳🥺... I know this season is about ending, leaving, moving on. Meredith possible of moving to another city but damn, why did they burn the house ? For what , for drama ? Common that house should have been left alone. All the great memories was there. Burning and rebuilding it will have a different feeling anymore. The house is an institution with the show, practically synonymous with Greys. If anything, it was strange when Meredith didn’t live there.
This show has become so leftist propaganda. They don’t even make the storylines interesting or unexpected anymore. I’m (very possibly) done with season 19 after 2 episodes. We deal with politics every day, I don’t need it being the main topic in entertainment.
It's difficult to get through 5 minutes of Grey's Anatomy anymore. I used to love the show, but now I just want to ask ABC, "why bother?" This show is crap now. ABC should have cancelled this show a year or two ago. End it.
