Art School Girlfriend on being her own producer and why role models are vital | ITV News

As she prepares to release her second album 'Soft Landing', electronic musician and producer Art School Girlfriend - aka Polly Mackey - talks to Mike Griffiths for ITV Wales' arts show Backstage.
Latest single 'Heaven Hanging Low' is, she explains, a celebration of queer love.
"I would never say that I write queer songs" she says. "I would say that I'm a queer person writing songs. I'm naturally a private person but it's something I'm quite vocal about, because I didn't have many role models to look up to".
