I can totally understand that! I too have such a reaction to licorice, i can't help but vomit after tasting it. I'm not even able to understand that, cause all of my family loves it. Ehm and bugs really are not bad once you tasted them. For me that is rather a mental disgust, i even had a fried tarantula once and it was great!

As an actual Australian, Brett's response to eating Vegemite straight (without anything else), is normal. Most of us only scrape it over toast or add small amounts into stews to bolster the savoury flavours of the stew. That is a perfectly reasonable reaction to the flavour though lmao
YES lmao and a lot of us use butter with it to make the strong taste a lot more mild.

Thank you! I knew I wasn’t going mad. I have lost how many times I’ve read the books, watched all the movies, and look into the theories too. And never have I seen one about Draco having a sister. I was trying to remember if in some alternative universe does he have a sister in the Cursed Child but that poo doesn’t count. But it’s really disappointing they are getting their “facts” from a wiki page and not from a true source… I know this is a game but any conservative media needs to be diligent about getting their information from proper sources otherwise they will be swallowed up by the crazy left mob

Agreed! I've read the books multiple times and seen the movies God knows how many times. I was floored that they gave her the WRONG answer. Even multiple wikipedia pages and other sources quote the books that Malfoy is the only child of Lucious and Narcissa Malfoy.

You are correct! I have been trying to tell her this for weeks without success. No sister of Draco is EVER mentioned in the books. Also, in book 5, chapter 6 Draco appears as an only child in the Black family tree.

Brett got the question about Draco right! I didn’t think he had any siblings, so I did some digging and Brett was right- he’s an only child. There’s just some weird non-canonical fanfiction that says he has a younger sister.

Red Vines makes an "All Natural" Licorice. The flavor on the packaging says "berry", I think. It tastes like a less artificial form of their red licorice. I love it!
Vegemite is really good if you get toast butter and then you put a really thin layer of it on, and you can still taste it because of how strong it is

I prefer Marmite to Vegemite. You see, with either of the two, it all depends on the butter and Marmite ratio and if having it on toast, that also comes into play depending on the temperature of the toast and the setting on the toaster. Yum.😁

U guys gotta try this, apply a bit of butter on a slice of bread smear on some marmite and drizzle with sugar. Cover it with another slice of bread and toast it until crispy. Best way to eat it. Enjoy!

@@MrAkaacer completely unrelated but my uncle told me that one time when he was a teenager he and his buddies were hanging out and ran out of snacks. They grabbed their huskies kibble, put hot sauce, a little lemon juice and a tiny sprinkle of salt and ate it. He said it was pretty good.

My aunt and one of my uncles, does a bi-annual trip to a different part of the world. In 2000, they went to Australia, and brought some vegemite for us to all try. It was terrible. My younger cousin hated it so much, that he began to cry. Asking “why would you make us eat that ?” It’s still a joke we tell in the family.

Vegemite came from the great depression. As a spread, it was embraced for its strong flavour, which made it go far with very little. For penny pinches during difficult times, it was a godsend. With additional health benefits associated with the b vitamins, all of which have multiple functions in your body, it has become a pretty well established Australian food. Btw, because your body can associate smells and flavours of foods with the vitamins involved, once you've eaten it on several different occasions, you can actually start craving it if you need those vitamins. I have a massive jar of it that I eat a tablespoon at a time (mix with butter, use as a dip) during aunt flos visit because of associated vitamin deficiencies.

Draco Malfoy Doesn't have a sister, I think maybe some fanfiction would portray him having siblings. Also Vegemite taste nasty tried it once never again and Licorice taste pretty good to me.
As an Australian it never gets old watching people try Vegemite. I do love the stuff, not only just on toast but I love to add a little into pasta sauce, meat pies & stews great little salty burst of flavor.

Your tastes can vary widely depending on the foods you were raised on.... I'm in the US and have never even seen vegemite for sale. I'd try it, Im not a picky eater.
