- Here you will find step-by-step instructions to assist in the assembly process for the head assembly of your Lasko Pedestal fan. Lets get started!
First you will want to confirm you have the following parts: Motor Assembly, Rear Grill, Front Grill, Spinner, Plastic Nut, and Fan Blade (show images of each)
Start off by tilting the Head Assembly back. Place the Rear Grill on the Motor Assembly. Be sure to align the tab of Plastic Rear Grill with groove located on the center hub of the motor. (show image of grill tab and groove on motor)
Fully seat the Rear Grill to the motor and secure with the Plastic Nut turning Clockwise until tight. Be sure not to over-tighten.
Slide the fan blade onto the metal Motor Shaft. It is important to align the groove on the fan blade center with the pin on the motor shaft to ensure safe and proper assembly. (Show up close images)
To secure the fan blade, screw the spinner onto motor shaft turning counterclockwise until tight on Blade hub. While tightening, be sure to use one hand to hold the blade in place on the motor shaft to prevent rotation. Be sure not to over tighten.
With fan head assembly in the upright position, align the ornament (Logo) of Front Grill so it is horizontal and right side up. By starting with the top of the grill and working down both sides of the grill simultaneously, insert Snaps on Rear Grill through Slots in Front Grill (show up close image of the snaps and slots on front and rear grills)
Once snapped together securely, you have successfully completed the head assembly instructions. Enjoy!
Great fan! Thanks for easy to follow set-up instructions :)
She is amazing! I put e everything together nicely thanks to her one on one instructions! ❤
The new ones Vibrate shake from the motor the old ones were SO much better
We've had two fans like that one. The first one died within a couple of months. The second one was used sporadically and lasted several years. Then one day it shocked the hell out of my wife when she tried to turn it on.
The two problems I see is the pedestal pipe itself. It doesn't lock into place in the plastic base. The base fits down on the pipe but does not lock into place. So far the fan rotation in the different speeds is good. After the up and down adjustment, the tightening nut can't get tight enough to hold weight of fan. It slowly slips down. I may have to put a clamp on it. The base, I might have to put some kind hold sealant. I'm not sending it back. I hope it last through the summer months.
I never had terrible quality with i had really great quality with those fans you know what i do is modify them i bolt the and super glue the pipe to the base and the i bolt the motor head assembly to the pipe.
With the older lasko, air king and galaxy pedestal fans from the early and late 2000s when you put the pipe in the base it will stay solid in there the old vintage lasko really had good build quality.
The fan blade itself needs to be better balanced at time of manufacturing so it doesn’t wobble when in use
The screw in the blade doesn’t attach to the spinner, or the spinner doesn’t make contact with the threaded tip
Im a fan of her :)
I see what you did there. ;)
Love that pun
“Fan” of her 😂
Helpful!
My spinner won’t tighten!!! What I’m doing wrong?!!!
Same here!
Spin it counterclockwise
I was spinning for righty tighty, lefty loosy too!!! Finally saw the counterclockwise written on the spinner!!! Clipping the grills together got me though. I have to say this was aggravating as heck. I'd rather have an instruction manual come with my fan!!!
I got a plastic not that will not tighten no matter what I do! DO NOT BUY!
I had the same problem but resolved it by pushing hard at the fan center and it twisted it on
@@exoticc-lp1sp was it the spinner?
@@jairokachow I made sure to push hard on the fan wing first then tighten the spinner Twisted on
Quality is getting bad
If it was the spinner you may have turned it the wrong way
Why does the spinner go on counterclockwise? It’s right righty, not lefty tighty. The nut goes on the right way. I'm calling the UN.
Can not get the blades to push all the way back to be able to tighten them
Where is stand assembly?
I need to disassemble a lasko pedestal fan to clean it. It has a metal front cover and a plastic back cover. How do I take the metal cover off without breaking the plastic pieces? There are no clips & the metal doesn’t bend. I already went on the website & it was no help.
If you have an older model, it is likely that they would have a set of tabs on the rear grill and you gotta insert the tabs into the slots on the front grill. It's somewhat explained well in this manual or video, however the video shows the method where the back grill slightly overlaps the front one around the edge despite the instructions given out. Heres their older video if you still don't get it: ua-cam.com/video/VQJGpL4PMUc/v-deo.html
Why couldn't this be in the box :(?
the motor assembly head does not move
Spinner DOES NOT tighten at all. Will make a annoying raddling sound. DO NOT waste your money PLEASE. wasted time assembling, dessembling, and returning..
Hi laskos
Erm wut the sigma
Terrible Quality 😢
Back to Walmart
Horrible product
The 20 inch from Sam’s Club is best
The presentation is way too fast.
You should look at the stand fan from Sam’s Club then, that one goes slower! But it moves more air!
@@FrancisTheGachaBoyThank you! However, I meant that her presentation is way too fast. 😆
I edited my comment.
@@GuyInCLEmy bad 😂
This fan is made with the cheapest plastic on earth and has zero durability. There's nothing sturdy about it.
