The Nun is part of the Conjuring film Universe, it's a demon called Valak that takes the form of a nun. It shows up in The Conjuring 2, and then they did a prequel film since the character was so popular. The Regan one is my favourite. I still think The Exorcist is pretty effective, but it's certainly different to modern horror films in the way it was shot.

I always made paper boats every Sunday from the comic section! Also made a Pirate hat to go with it. Sad, I bet kids today don't even know how to make them..... or even what a newspaper comic section is!
The scariest part of the exorcist for me was the part where they take her to the hospital and do all those tests on her and she’s in so much pain. hospitals are much scarier than demons for me
I’ve never seen the exorcist Bc as a child I snuck to see a part and it was the bed moving violently and it terrified me. My fear of things under the bed came from that

And the original Poltergeist clown scared me so much.
