Appreciate the reaction and taking my suggestion. She definitely likes using different pedal effects on her guitar to create some unique and interesting sounds. Her most notable album is probably her self-titled St Vincent album. Her music has alot of variety and has been hinting at making a metal album next which may be coming this year
"Actor" is where I first discovered her. "Strange Mercy" was my favorite album of hers, an all around solid work. "St. Vincent" was pretty good, too, but I could see the writing on the wall with how she seemed to be approaching a more mainstream sound, and it's where I fell off listening to her. Huey Newton from that album was one of if not my favorite song of hers, though.
Kinda get the sense the sound on her guitar was not what she intended because it's way different from the studio version and you see her make kind of an annoyed expression when the sound first comes out. The version on the album is much more in your face with the distortion and doesn't sound as tinny as it does here.
She's beautiful work of art and her voice is so celestial 😍. Listen to "Marry Me" album, her debut and the best album by St. Vincent so far in my opinion.
Just discovering your channel. I love how you don’t constantly stop the song as you go like a lot of reaction vids people do. I think they lose a lot of the flow and experience
Hey Teez! Can you react to more Zappa? Joes Garage, Fillmore East '71, or Uncle Meat will be fun I should think - 3 different bands, but all contain great performances and all around weirdness! You are in for a treat! Enjoy the laughs ;))
