Is there a difference in manufacturing or ingredients between Lush USA and UK? As I have heard you mention before the UK seems to have stronger smelling products.
Yes. Absolutely. Particularly when one gets them from UK mail order, the products are fresher. I dont know why.
The products were and still are way more expensive here in North America too...
Also, Lush UK always had more products, WAY more exclusive products that Lush North America didn't make. We had years and years worth of perfume exclusives, bath products, etc from the UK only. Probably because the creator was in the UK. As opposed to the sob who was over Lush America. It was that way from 1999-2022. For 23 years.
For many years the U.S.A. Lushies from the customer forum used to order only from Lush UK. The products have more color, deeper color, and more scent. I think maybe the ingredient laws are slightly different.
And also i think a small part of it is manufacturing.
So UK cost less/better product.
However since Mark C, the creator of Lush, became in charge of North America too we cant order from the uk anymore. it wont work if we put an North American address. Alot of it because of the new EU laws too.
@@MSlushalot thanks for explaning that makes sense. I have watched some videos from Lush North America and some bath bombs dont seem as colourful as ours.
It would be hard to ship from UK to USA now due to Brexit and different laws as its hard to ship stuff from the USA to the UK now. Very expensive.
Bit sad that the person didnt give you the same items that the UK has or even products that suited the USA more. 23 years is a long time to run something and not take advantage of oppurtunities

Aw remember the purple loose strife soap, that was one of the best released at same time I think as chamomile soap.
Yes wasnt that great? I think that was my favorite of the bunch.
I definitely think the theme is hippie/flower child. I think the chamomile lawn fits the vibe just because of the flower aesthetic. I’m personally really excited about this box!

I thought I remembered Chamomile Lawn as a shampoo, but it's so long ago I couldn't find info about it and wondered if I was imagining things! Thanks for the descriptions, I think this will be a nice box :)

It was Mother’s Day 2017 the chamomile lawn soap came out. I loved that soap. Lava lamp bath bomb was awsome. Karma kumba shampoo was green and had a little white flower on top. Temple of truth i dont think i had

About a year ago, I came across a white temple of truth in my old stash. I did not know it actually was that old (16 years). I crumbled it in the bath and i gotta say, it still smelled amazing. Too funny! I'm really excited for this box (now that you explained everything so well). The theme is really fun and the scent profile is right up my alley! I like the variety too. I'm all about getting value for the box so items that you can get many uses out of is a win for me!

Dont like this box at all. The bath bomb staines, camomile soap? Boring. A shampoo bar? Really? With how personal shampoo is? Did not do anything for my curls thats for sure. The lotion is nice maybe, but happy hippy is a boring scent for me. Only interesting product for me would be temple of truth. Big pause
