Barakallahu feekum brother 💝 This series has been incredible so far MashaAllah!! You have been addressing everything I think about everyday and articulating it in ways I struggle to. I am so grateful you have put these videos out so others may consider these perspectives you have been speaking about. I feel less alone in my thoughts and feelings on these matters. I reverted to Islam a few years ago but before that was what some call a psychonaut and had been to these places you speak of in this video so I too can verify the validity of what you are saying and what Ibn Arabi talked about, as well as many others do. I struggle some with reading his works, also as many others do 🤣 So again, much appreciation for your bringing this wisdom with your words! May Allah continue to bless you and all of us 💖
Salaam alay kum another wonderful video.such a brilliant teacher. Just to add that Mullah Sadr in the 17th century also put forward a idea of solidified soul that overcame Descartean Dualism
With regards to the ayah of safwan, a natural interpretation of the parabel could be that what appears as a fertile soil that could produce vegetation and fruits (the sadaqah and its consequences) is nothing more than just a superficial layer of earth, and within it lies a hard rock so that when the rain fails down, the soil gets washed away and no fruits are to grow from a hard bare rock. In one of the ayaat before it, the sadaqah fi sabilillah is compared with a seed that gives rise to many seeds. These seeds could ofcourse refer to both the earthly results of the sadaqah to both the giver and the taker as well as the reward one gains from it. Wa Allahu a3lam.
I’m going to need merch that says “ahhhh salaam alaikum folks”
