Damn, that Impulse was able to convince Iskall on the very last inch was extremely satisfying. What a bold move!
I think it was more that Iskall was confused and though that if he didn’t vote X Imp would die and he wasn’t sure if he was Imp or not so he figured if he was mayor it would be best to keep him alive, like you get what I mean..?
True, but also wouldn't have mattered. Cub's ghost vote meant even if Iskall hadn't voted, it would have been 2-to-2. So unless Xisuma nominated Iskall, which he had no reason or indication of doing, the votes would be tied, no executions would happen, and Impulse would win by killing at night. So by that point in the game, Impulse had the win on lock.
Yes, Cubfan135 saving his vote to the very end was a great idea to win.
@@IceMetalPunkeven if Xisuma nominated Impulse, Ren already used his one vote so even if both Iskall and X vote, it would've been tied. Impulse had the win locked as soon as he nominated someone, he could've kept his promise and nominated Iskall for fun even
Impulse didn't convince Iskall, Iskall just realised that since the vote was tied already, he would lose if Impulse was the demon (as both got 2 votes), so not voting is losing so he went with the 0.001% chance of X being evil and voted anyway because he quite literally had nothing to lose
i would genuinely watch the clocktower minigame as its own series xD

I was literally jumping up and down, on the edge of my seat for the whole game of clock tower. the story impulse wove was *fabulous* - I don't know how anyone doubted him, it was so airtight. One interesting thing is that if Impulse hadn't figured out that Iskall was the soldier and nobody was voted the final round, so that Impulse only had to get the final kill, the townsfolk could've won had he picked Iskall. But the cards played out so perfectly with Cub still having a vote to execute X that Iskall didn't realize, so that there was no tie. Also, Impulse could've nominated Iskall instead, to keep his promise to X, and just outed himself and cub as evil by telling cub to vote with him to tie it up and won by killing X that night. Either way, the whole thing was just *chef's kiss*. Reminds me of a game called Werewolf, where everyone gets a role and the werewolf kills every night, but this version is so much better with splitting up the interactions between a bigger group so that it's not complete chaos during meetings. Also better than among us in that there is no time limit as long as people still have things to say. Great video, 11/10, am going to force my whole family to watch this with me tonight
The only flaw with Impulse's story is that everybody forgot they executed Cub and thought he was evil. They didn't know this for certain, but they were pretty sure they got one evil person: then when the game didn't end, they were a little confused, forgetting that there can also be Minions. Cub never accused anyone and never voted for anyone unless Impulse voted too.
If they had picked up that Cub was mirroring Impulse's movements, as opposed to mirroring X's movements, I think they'd have got Impulse, but they missed that scrap of information (tbf, it took me watching Cleo's then Impulse's vid, aka the entire thing twice to pick up on it)
Absolutely amazing gameplay, Iskall was the absolute MVP of Town but Impulse was just a tiny bit better.
Also yes I love for the alternate world when Impulse's speech is "Actually, I'm evil. And Cub is evil. I nominate Iskall. Myself and Cub will vote for him. Either X votes, in which case Iskall is executed and I win, or X does not vote and it ties, and I win. Checkmate!" xD
The best part of it was that no matter the outcome, Impulse was guaranteed to go to the night, due to his own vote and the vote of cub causing a tie with x's 2 votes. And if x had voted on Impulse and given him 3 votes, then he'd still tie due to being able to convince iskall and gaining his vote alongside himself and cub. what an amazing end.
Absolutely LOVE the special length video. This was perfect. Lots of hermit interaction and finally the Dwarven-Elven connection. Well done sir!

God, I missed having iskall on the server. He is so good and driving plot / events without overshadowing others. Such a funny dude. Great episode impulse!

The game from cleo reminds me of the game ultimate werewolf which is a fantastic group game! Cleo did a fantastic job making the game and roles and impulse did amazing playing his role gg all hermits 😊
I really like how, while indeed there were a bunch of jokes of "Oh, Impulse has to be the imp because he has imp in his name", for the most part, his defense of "But that would be too big a coincidence, right, guys? Cleo wouldn't do the to me" actually worked for him. That's so funny.
I loved this episode. I kept ignoring it because of how long it was but then I had to clean the apartment today so I put this video on and I am so glad I did

I've been watching Blood on the Clocktower content for a few months now. It's really fun, especially when everyone is using facecam. I've even interacted with some of the people in those videos and they are constantly evolving the game with new roles. It's basically like Mafia where everyone sits in the same room and try to find the bad people. But online versions are basically like chat rooms, but more visual. EDIT: Also, I got confused when they said "The sacrifice" as a role. But then I saw the list and they changed the name of "The Virgin" LOL.

Impulse should have nominated Iskall at the end and asked people to tie the vote. He could have kept the promise to Xsuma, and maintained his honorable and innocent appearance by trying to set it so no one was executed, like he was saying was his goal. By switching tunes in front of everyone and nominating Xsuma and then arguing that he was the demon again rather than asking people to tie the vote I feel like he lost the benefit of doubt that people may have given him. I feel like he got lucky Iskall flopped at the end. Still super impressive game play.
At the last nomination I would just say "I'm the demon. Me and Cub are gonna vite for Xisuma, and it's gonna be a tie, and I win."

@@joehobo6039 he lives in nashville tho.. like not to say hes never bought things second hand, but you cant really live in a city without a certain threshold of income. of course you can still be poor in a city, but rural and urban places simply have different basic living standards regardless of what state you live in, so its a bit regressive to make generalizations like that based on state.
however that being said, i do feel like regardless of income joe would personally prefer to buy second hand because its simply more sustainable and environmentally friendly and hes the kind of guy that cares about that

Cub holding on to his vote until the end to save Impulse was just genius. Great mind play from Impulse up to that point, but saving Cub's single ghost vote for protecting Impulse at the end was the real gamewinning move.

yeah, and that moment when Impulse realized cub still has a ghost vote, and he only needs 2 - his and cub's - so he doesn't actually need to convince anyone, he's already won. You can hear his voice relax at that point.
By technically he could have nominated Iskale as well... he just needed the 2 votes....
at the end Cub having the ghost vote to protect Imp made the whole last day nomination drama pointless too...as soon as Ren died the game was over just well played all around by both of them
