MAN IT FEELS GOOD TO SEE JESSE BEING MORE AGRESSIVE (Karate vs Karate) Usually he is such a gentleman with everyone when sparring, but on this video he didnt let Seth get the upper hand in the Karate match, awesome to see it, both are great youtubers, God Bless you all
I imagine that Jesse considers it impolite to invite a different teacher of martial arts onto his channel and then try seriously to "beat" them rather than letting them present what they have to offer.
@@fredriksjoblom5161since Karate has weapons, it would have been good to see Kobudo Vs FMA. Perhaps the knuckleduster, can't remember the name, as a surprise for Seth.
I need a full length video of mike and jesse talking about karate as "the universal adapter" because that's a super interesting point and would love to hear an in depth explanation
@@renangeek47I even heard another youtuber (seems to have been some sort of world champion in his style but to be hones I didn't double check it with other sources; however, with the knowledge of my own beckground it seems legit what he says) saying that the kicking ability in kickboxing declined over the past decades since none of them starts with a proper Karate background anymore; they keep starting with (Kick)boxing right away...
Sensei Seth's channel is fantastic! If you're not familiar with his content, I highly recommend it. He's taken at least one class from every discipline on the wheel, and he's become a very accomplished practitioner of several disciplines (Karate primarily, BJJ, MT, and Sumo). Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone reading this comment that doesn't know about his channel.
but his oppomnemnt did not know 14 styles, he went to maybe one or two classes, the representations of them were a joke, not real pressure test. obviouslythis was a in jest video and was funny and enjoyable, but not realistically fighting those different arts,
Remember the video where Jesse showed Seth how to use old Karate/Karate kata for combat and then he went ahead and tested it? I would definitely appreciate Jesse showing more of that Karate. Closer combat stuff less distanced. Truly looking forward to great content with all of you guys.
The Christmas gift we didn't know we needed. And is a testament to all the work Seth put into various training. Dude is a martial art polyglot. And Seth and Mike are funny as hell.
I laughed through the whole video, but the finisher was just hilarious... the neck snap, the whispered "subscribe" and then the Naruto run into Mike at the bathroom... pure comedic gold. 😂❤ you guys are great goofballs!!
This was BY FAR one of the most entertaining videos you guys have ever collaborated on. I have to say, I was REALLY quite impressed with how much Seth retained from all the different disciplines he's practiced over the years, particularly ones where he just had a few lessons. Fun stuff!
This was clearly an act,Icy Mike never poop without wearing his appendix holster gun with an extra mag,a tactical flashlight, a knife, a tactical pen and would have probably pulled out his backpack that transform into body armor with an extra gun inside.
That moment when it came to karate and their faces immediately became way more serious and focused... Also would love Seth and Jesse to get some more capoeira classes, it has a lot of stuff to learn and adapt for various fighting situations.
It was a fun video :D While watching it, I didn't even realize how 8 minutes passed. You should continue to make more videos with Sensei Seth and Icy Mike. You are so good together. Seeing you having fun gives me a special happiness.🙂🙃
That looked like a lot of fun and it reminds me of me and my friends when we were teenagers. My favorite part was the sweep and follow up on Seth during the karate segment.
Now this is what I call QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT! 10/10. While less interesting from a martial arts perspective than most of your other videos, I this was super fun to watch and it was clear that you guys had a great time filming this! Cheers!
My two preferred Martial Arts UA-camrs doing what they do the best: showing some nice moves and NOT taking too seriously!😂 One of the best videos of their kind!👍🏻
This is where having a friend who took time to try all of these martial arts is amazing, helpful and really made the video, along with great ideas & editing. Love the video game style with outfit changes & Seth's basic knowledge of each absolutely makes this so stellar. Of course u absolutely rock too, Jesse😊. Great dynamic. Fabulous job.
I am far from an expert on this any of this, but from an uninitiated point of view, this looked like it wasn't really a matter of winning. This looked like fairly light, playful sparring which favors grappling over striking, because you're not going to have stopping power with strikes, especially on a big guy like Seth. So in the grappling arts, Seth was able to just rush in and do what he will with his formidable size and strength. The Karate had them both looking their most comfortable and Jesse's moves seemed to work best when fighting the familiar style of karate, even though I noticed a lot of his kick blocks were just working in general all of the time. Excellent form from both of you guys though. It's a pleasure watching skillful practitioners at their art. Seth makes sumo look so **** fun though I gotta say.
I love how much fun Jesse can have, and I really admire how agile Seth is for a guy his size. We have the same body type, and he's doing flips and cartwheels while I need a couple of minutes to get up from a sitting position.
You should test out some Sambo wrestling, Jesse! I think it would be an eye-opener. It's also in the top 10 of most dangerous martial arts, so it got some validity to it for sure :D
This was amazing. My favorite parts were Judo, JKD, and Ninjutsu in the end 😂. Next time fight Seth while he's using all the martial arts he's learned 😄.
Its actually super interesting to watch Seth change stances and, at least for the ones hes done more than a couple times, be comfortable in them enough to actually even do something like this.
I've been following all three of the "main" characters in this story for some time now. I loved every second of this video! Keep up the good work and thank you for creating such awesome content for us!
Seth and Jesse are by far my favorite martial art youtubers. They bring a little humor into martial arts. And they are very good at what they do. I love watching. Cheers from 2.dan Kyokushin.
FMA amateur training uses sticks, but the advanced level execures the very same techniques without sticks; think of the sticks as hand extensions and think of the hands/arms as short sticks.

You guys looked like you were having a great time.
Dude moves better than a skinny guy
BJJ looks like "i cant reach" floyd's punishment simulator
he did really well in the self defense championship that the former aikido guy organized
I laughed so hard with the Wing Chun bit.

Seth's mimicry of Systema was HILARIOUS! Great video, Sensei Enkamp!
Hilarious but kinda worked especially with that one where he dodged the straight and immediately countered with a low punch.
It actually captured the style pretty well though.
Almost Drunk style gong fu.
