Hey Jen and Yvonne, yet another super helpful video! 💪 And, of course: Thanks for the praise! Indeed, we accompany our clients throughout their entire home buying journey: Our advisors are happy to assist with everything from finding your German dream home, to securing your optimal mortgage, to signing the final contract with the bank. 🏡 One further tip for your community: Contact a mortgage advisor BEFORE you have a specific property in mind. This way, you can determine your maximum affordability in advance, gather necessary documents and even get a financing certificate that proves your purchasing power to real estate brokers, so that your purchase can be made as quickly and smoothly as possible. 🤓
Hey guys! I am super thankful for your videos! Thank you for sharing all the tips and your positivity with us. I am moving to Germany in 6 months, and appreciate your effort in helping people like me to navigate through all the different processes :) I have watched about 1 or 2 year span of the videos you make in a week, and noticed kind of a German accent from Jen in this one (at about 0:11) :) Hope that doesn't sound offensive (surely did not intend it to be any kind of pun).
Hey @ lostintranslaization, we're happy to read our videos have been helpful to you! We wish you all the best in your preparations to move to Germany soon. Funny about the German accent, it rubs off a bit I guess :D -J
A side note about income. If your money does not come from Germany then you get automatically denied. That's been our experience this far... Granted our money comes from USA instead of turkey or so we have faced walls going every direction here. No chances to buy a home or finance a car, everything gets turned down. So guy keep that in mind and if you want something nice then prep to save for a few years before hoping you have enough to buy anything here
I'm a little late tonight, because of the Queen Elizabeth's processing in Edinburgh. In all my mourning and following events these days, I find this video so well structured and so well explained! I think the Kreditkonditinen Anfragen vs. Kredit Anfragen that you talked about is very important, maybe even the life-saving small difference that you point out! Oh, and yes, Bulgarian language is full of German words - Kredit, the same meaning, the same use. Thank you for summarizing and talking about all diverse ways to get a Kredit in Germany, hence I hope it would not be the first thing I would need to do... not for the first two years very much hopefully! But I really don't know, I mean I have some idea but not the whole picture of my will-be finances once landed in Germany, so some of these tips will stay in the back of my head (and hopefully only there). You ask about our Kredit.. things and all? Well, I got into a bit of a headache with a loan, about 6 years ago and it was because of an expensive present for a woman. Yes, she was happy, but it turned out I could have done a similar present with much less spending, let alone going into a Kredit. 😂 Everything's been fine since then, I just learned not to clap, set and go to the first offer I ever see 😉 Just what you say very clearly! So there are situations in life where you'd be ok with signing up for a loan, others where you can just waaaiit a little few months and avoid that, but you have to cleverly make the difference. My country has a problem with loans, there are phantom companies and all that stuff, but on the other hand banks are very strict. And I like strict 🤣😅
I've never taken a loan in my life (unlike most people around me because this country has caught the American Disease 😑) but good to know that if a series of events happens the way I want, I might theoretically be able to get a mortgage.
So Cashper is simply what my (proper) credit card will do anyway? Giving me a credit that i don''t have to pay interests on as long as i pay it back within 56 days.
Urghh - I wish you come up with this video (edited: few years ago)! Went to Berlin Sparkasse, and the guy did put a query on my credit score. That put a bad dent on my credit history forever! Hate it!
Thank you so much for your videos 🤩. It's really so helpfull! Just a question about European citizens, we don't have permenant or temporary residence. so how it works in our case 😅? thank you in advance ! [Keep going 👏]
As a European citizen you automatically have the right to live and work in Germany, so you don't need any residence permit, but need to fulfill all other criteria 😊
Hi there, thank you for the information you share with us. I really appreciate what you share, it is very helpful. I have a request to ask of you, can you make a video about the TV tax in Germany and does it affect your shufa situation in case you cannot pay. how to solve such situation ? I can provide you with more information if you want. Thx in advance for 😊
If you don’t pay and ignore the payment requests it can definitely impact your Schufa score. The best way to solve it is to pay and ask the Rundfunkbeitrag to remove the note they did to Schufa. Hope that helps 😊
@@simplegermany yes thanks for sharing such valuable. The problem started in 2020, on the day when I had the flight to go back to my country, I found a letter on my post box. I took with me and I left the Germany forever, I was not planing to comeback, but in the near future I think I'm going back again. That's why I want to know my shufa situation is gonna have this or not . Anyways thx for sharing
hey! im trying to get a student visa in Germany and for it i need a certain amount of money in a german bank account ( which is what i was planning to take out as a loan). i cant find any information on it online though, could i get some help ? :(
Is there a secured credit card here like in America? I know secured credit cards is the easiest to get if you have a 0 credit score and helps you build credit
Not sure what you mean with secured credit card? Revolving credit cards which charge an exorbitant interest if you don’t pay them at the end of the month exist as well, yes. We did a video on that: ua-cam.com/video/pTQjNjUPj1U/v-deo.html
@@simplegermany a secured card is when you want let's say a $1000 credit limit. You would then pay the credit card company $1000 as collateral. The credit card works like a normal credit card it just now secured because if you don't pay, they can take from the $1000 you gave them.
@@simplegermany basically a bank or credit card business can't say no to you because it's secured that's how I started gaining credit with no cosigner or anything.
ive taken a loan on my name for my ex fiance business now i cant pay back. please is there any prossible to get rid of this loan. many people told me that it is possible but i want to know the procedure. ( i am german citizen :''( please help me if you know something regarding this)
I've been here for four years now. I asked about a credit of only 1000€, which is the mininum my bank offered, just out of curiosity, but I was told it wasn't possible. I am Italian, have never had any debt in my life, I have a credit card and a savings account and yet I have no possibility of getting a loan anywhere. My boyfriend is hundreds of euros in debt every month and he gets approved for whatever he wants. I don't understand it at all and I am very salty about it, but well.
@@simplegermany I had tried somewhere else before, but I was also rejected because I had a Befristet work contract at the time. Which is something that was not mentioned in the video, but also important to keep in mind
@@lena421 If you "only" have a tempoary employment it is always difficult to get a loan, even if you are German. There's plenty of work environments that only offer temporary employments, like in the entertainment industry and you are always being treated like an alien, even by government employment agencies who should know better. Anways, if you don't need a long distance loan, my best bet would be to get a credit card that is some kind of flexible like Barclays or whatever.
Hello guys! I just got a job but they gave me a 1 year fixed-term contract ! I am 100% clean I never had any loan not even a phone contract! So with this 1 year fixed contract after 3 month do you guys think I am able to get around 15-20K euro as personal loan or not? I banking at Postbank! Thanks for your reply!

Can you make a video on how to connect a PayPal account to bank account in Germany???
Yes please
Oh interesting! Yes, we add it to the list! 😊
It's easy I just did it. If you did one in america it's the same thing except there is no account and routing number germany uses an IBAN number
You simply add your German IBAN to your Paypal account and that's about it.
