    It been nice you give more info like which mode is dry only for skin

      I personally wouldn’t use this on dry skin. I made a more detailed video after I used it for months that may answer your questions better:

      Which mode for blackhead removal?

    • @alderandjade
      @alderandjade  15 днів тому

      @@Puma_178 Airshot mode will definitely help, but the main piece is working in good blackhead removing products with booster mode. Here's a how-to from Medicube: "To remove blackheads with a Medicube Booster Pro, first cleanse your face thoroughly, then apply a pore-cleansing serum or gel to the targeted areas, followed by using the Booster Pro in "Booster Mode" to deeply penetrate the product into your pores, helping to loosen and lift blackheads; finish with a gentle exfoliation to remove any remaining debris; remember to always follow up with a hydrating moisturizer. Hi! Can it use on our neck also? I mean to reduce our fineline?

    • @alderandjade
      @alderandjade  3 місяці тому

      Medicube says very clearly in the manual that the using it on the front of your neck is prohibited. It specifically says "Do not use on the uvular area, open wounds, or areas where procedures or surgeries have been performed." Past that, I can't find any other official information.

    I didnr understand when you said you use the booaster mode in everything skincare, except for (?)… didnt get it.

      @alderandjade  23 дні тому

      Except for tretinoin! Tretinoin is the prescription version of retinol. In general, I personally wouldn't use this device or any other device with retinoids and any type of exfoliating acid. My skin doesn't need that level of intensity! Sorry I didn't explain that more in the video.

    What is the purple led for?

    • @alderandjade
      @alderandjade  3 місяці тому +1

      Mine doesn’t have a purple led, but the derma-shot mode can look purple in different light and the product listing has an image of derm-shot as either purple or red…I’m traveling at the moment so cannot check mine, but I don’t believe I could ever get it to purple so I am guessing the purple was for derma-shot on a earlier model?
      Here’s how Medicube describes dermashot mode: it is follow-up to microcurrent mode with a deeper electrotherapy. It is supposed to stimulate and exercise your facial muscles by contracting them, which is supposed to signal to them to produce key structural proteins like collagen and elastin. This is meant specifically for your lower face to work to stimulate sagging skin and create a firmer facial contour.

      @@alderandjade Thanks, I guessing you have to connect to the App in order to get the purple led.

      I figured it out 😅 you can change ANY mode to any color in the app. You click on your “booster pro” and then click settings. You’ll get to “default LED settings” where you can change the default color for any mode. Here are what the colors mean in the app:
      Red - elasticity
      Green - volumizing
      Purple - boosts skincare
      Aqua - pore care
      Orange - brightening
      I hope this helps and thank you for helping me learn about this feature!

      Here's a reddit thread on how to download the app internationally. I have no idea if this works, but it seems like a bunch of people have gotten it to work: www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/comments/1b6c2br/product_question_how_i_downloaded_ager_app/

    why does it hurt when i’m on derma shot mode?

    • @alderandjade
      @alderandjade  3 місяці тому +1

      I'm unsure. Make sure you are at level 1 and have some serum on your face so it has something to work with over using it directly on dry skin. I remember it feeling much stronger the first time I used it, but I got used to it really fast...but I don't remember it hurting :(
      Also remember that derma-shot mode is more intense and meant specifically for along your chin and cheeks since it is more for making muscles twitch to help stimulate collagen and prevent/reduce sagging. I personally don't use it near my eyes.

      That's annoying, but I'll admit that I stopped using the app after the first week. All the information on the app is on their website and all it really does is help you stick to a schedule with notifications. Now I use booster mode each morning. Microcurrent and derma-shot on Mon/Wed/Fri mornings. And airshot mode once on the weekend if I remember. That's what's working for me!
