Yeah mate I was stoked for a 10 minute job they make the cars so much more better to drive.
Great video mate, I got an I drive about 10 months ago, and love it, these things are one of the best cheaper mods you can do for your 4x4 in my opinion, only thing I would say to people is go with the name brand ones and not the cheaper ones.

I have this unit on my Hyundai Veloster Turbo..
Definitely makes a difference but I can’t have it on any setting other than cruise or automatic when in park..
If I have it on another setting and put the car in park ..it literally revs its head off and I have to change the setting immediately..
That can’t be normal right?
Nice video mate. Does the controller will destruct the tuned transmission when you install that thing? I have a tuned transmission so just asking if it does anything on tuned transmission? Cheers
Wouldn’t do mate it’s only adjusting the throttle signal everything else is left alone

We only got something like that in nz now that's a bit slack and unfortunately I think it only works for stock ecu/ecm
Hey just a question, might be a stupid question just wondering does this mess with the computer, if you didn't want it on and you take it off,would it change computer?
aaron neilen not a stupid question at all mate it doesn’t effect the ECU at all as it piggy backs on to it so if you do remove it it reverts back to standard

Yeah to an extent but not completely
Do any of the modes improve your gas mileage? That’s the reason I want one.
Not at all mate they can slow down the throttle control but I wouldn’t say they will improve your fuel economy

Got one in the Y62 mate both are being used everyday still going strong.

Cruise is what I have it on mate seems the best setting for around town driving
If you have a remap done is it still something worth doing?
Still won't get rid of the throttle delay mate it's due to the nature of fly by wire every car has the delay so it's definitely worth it.
How do you get your triton to sound so good

Never used one mate but they have good reviews but I can’t see it being any better than the one I showed hear to be honest they are all just playing with the throttle response. If you get one use the 4x4campingandadventures code for a discount

I’ve got a 08 3.2lt triton and no fucking way can I get the accelerator plug out. Just wasted $250 on one of these things.
Update.
Got the Hikeit installed. Started engine. Idle is about 2 grand and the unit will not power on. Don’t want to put it in drive in case it punches me through the shed door. 🙄
