    "Everything is a 'happening' in what you really are."
    Beautifully said 'Daniel!'...a powerful and simple re-minder or re- cognizing of who we really are. When the psychological me/ doer is 'seen through' then all that's left is what's appearing in the empty capacity that you really are. Not two!.

      That's not It.
      As Nisargadatta taught, the practice, the teachings, the Realization, etc. are all also "part of the mirage."
      An easy acid test is if the noticing of this *state* comes and goes, is forgotten/remembered, and so on.
      Nisargadatta: "In the Absolute, *I do not even know that I am.* " (i.e., The Absolute is "without" Consciousness-Awareness and "has no knowledge of Itself.")

    The funny thing is that I think most people have already experienced no separate self, and it just wasn’t that big of a deal. If you’ve ever “lost yourself” in a book or a movie, or been “in the flow”, where it seemed like your body was on autopilot and was just doing its thing with no “you” controlling anything, then guess what. That was the experience of no separate self. Congratulations! On the flip side, make a mistake in front of an audience and you’ll quickly become very conscious of your self, i.e., self-conscious. Once you’ve seen that the sense of self comes and goes, it becomes easier and easier to see through the illusion.

    This is the I Am, which could be considered "the final veil."
    The acid test for any Realization is if it was an experience in time (duration) and in the waking state, was lost/found, was forgotten/remembered, comes/goes, has a before/after, etc.
    Another acid test is if the Realization has meaning and context, which means it's still under the umbrella of a meta-narrative.

    Thank you for this video. A couple of questions come up while watching this. So, when there is a listening to this video and I’m apparently sitting in my room and I hear or it’s heard voices outside my bedroom window kids, playing birds chirping. What is that? Since there’s no separation When I think I’m hearing kids playing outside my window what is happening there? Also when my cell phone rings and my daughter calls and wants to know if I’m coming over to her house in a few minutes who’s on the other end of that phone call? I was wondering if I can possibly reach out to you on messenger Privately thank you❤

    If im not doing the hearing then why do i get so annoyed and irritable with example noisy neighbours or dogs barking ?

      It's the ego mind creating that experience. You can choose to feed into being bothered or not. We've been so used to paying attention to the thoughts, sensations, and emotions our minds and to us that we think it is us. States of being (emotions) & thoughts come and go but you do not appear and disappear with them. Something is there when it comes up and when it dissipates. The essence of you which is not even what's writing to you right now ironically, but pointing nevertheless.

      @marykavanagh531 Both. The ego part of the mind but it's not a seperate part of us. It houses our identity, beliefs, and social conditioning. Our body is complex and gets used to states of being that we have been in so long we don't notice. For example, say you feel guilty a lot, your body gets used to the feeling of guilt. Guilt becomes part of your normal state of being physically. You are feeling good for a moment, and the survival instinct program notices and wants to return to guilt. The ego mind helps push us towards normal known states of being, whether helpful or not. So our mind will offer us thoughts and impulses, draw situations, or people (run programs) that it knows will illicit the feelings of guilt. That's why it's so difficult to change because we are training our minds that the new habit, routine, state of being, encounter, etc. is safe. The ego is our identity. All the things we've been told we are and assigned to ourselves along the way. Sometimes we are thinking and sometimes we're listening to thoughts. Once we pay attention to them we begin to take them in and believe it is us thinking. So when we are listening, it's the ego speaking to who? The ego also. The ego is the problem pretending to help you find the problem. You are identified with the fact that the neighbors or dogs barking irritate you, take a moment, and watch irritation by identifying where you feel it, just breathe and look at it. Doing that, you will see it dissolve. During that experience, you were there before it came, as it was felt, and after it left so how was it you that was irritated? Your identity/ego was, but you can choose to engage or not. Last thing, walk up to a mirror, you see your face, but you're looking out of your eyes into the mirror at the face. What is looking out? When people pass away, their bodily shell is there, but the essence is gone, that's you/us. Light & Love.

      Heard a great example: your driving a winding road for 15 minutes, suddenly you're done but you cannot remember how you got there. The thoughts you had on the way that took you away from the present moment was the ego state of being, realizing you were unaware (not present) and now being fully in this moment is freedom.
