In just 3 years my husband and I have changed everything about our lives. We are almost 50 and we are proof that it is never too late. We went from weekly grocery trips to Walmart, boxed rice, canned vegetables, boxed and frozen dinners…to a 20 acre farm with 2 large gardens and livestock. We grow and preserve 75% of all our food. Make our own bread, ketchup, mayo, kombucha, yogurt and cheese. Raise and process our own chicken, turkeys and goats. If we have extra, we share with neighbors and family. We’ve made friends with other local farmers and barter for what we don’t have. We feel better, off all previously prescribed medications. Read labels if you do have to buy from the store, cut out the garbage! Your body will thank you!

People just don’t think the same. Growing up we used to go into a grocery store leaving the windows down with an unlocked door. Trusting everyone and everyone trusting us. Shopping was so different. We didn’t have a million choices but it was real food. Life was clean. Cussing was inappropriate and children did not get away with disrespect. Teachers were upstanding and well respected.

I was raised on a farm. We had huge garden, fruit trees, hunting mushrooms and picking berries in the woods, lots of canning, freezing, butchering pigs, cattle, chickens. Lots of eggs, hunting squirrel, rabbits, deer. We had ponds, so they encouraged frogs, turtles. Fried frog legs, also turtle soup. Our 4 freezers full of butchered meat, pies, fruit, and pantry filled with canned goods and jelly and jams. Mom always mad extra, so wat we had at lunch dinner was left over for evening meal. We burned wood for heat, so no fuel cost. It was the good life. Parents had 5 kids, lots of visiting relatives, and neighbors and always plenty to feed an army. When I retired from state job at Wisconsin Dept of Corrections-Probation & Parole, we sold our home & moved to Illinois to be close to our son. We were fortunate to find home with couple acres only 1 mile from decent sized low crime town. I am 73, spouse is 81 and we have continued with garden consisting of 8x16 raised bed: tomatoes, green beans, okra, sweet peppers, sweet peas, asparagus, basil, chives and cucumbers and 10x10 strawberry garden. My small freezer is full, as well as pantry filled with canned goods, as I always purchase few extra items when I find sales. 7 years ago, I found part time employment at a college (that matched my prior work experience) 2 miles from my home and I love it. Fortunately, it is a job where I feel I am making a difference in helping people who had prior records, get paid training at no cost and a future great paying job. The community is grateful for my help as well, because working people create less crime in area.

“I can’t do that” annoys me. I got a ‘memo’ from the Lord 3 years ago about the coming famine. I started preparing diligently. DILIGENTLY! A tornado wiped our small farm out last week. You know…..I’m out cutting the trees, replanting gardens, rebuilding chicken house…..I listen to the Lord, I do not give up. Take action! Put down the tv remote and work towards what Jesus leads you to accomplish. May God bless everyone who watches this video and desires a change in their lives. ❤ oh and I’m 62. I understand Tammy. I am surrounded by good people, but they are all nonbelievers. Some believe in God, but not Christ. I try to interject Christ when I can, but most times I am verbally attacked. I just have to try when I can when there is an opening, but I also know I can't push it. Then the walls come up and you will never get anywhere. 1 I have tried and worked on for over 30 years. I still have hope.

Watching Ray Comfort do his witnessing and street ministry has helped us to witness to people. You can share the gospel, God commands us to, but in the end it is up to each person to accept Jesus as their savior. It's just our job to share the gospel so people know there is a road to eternal life.

I don't know what you know. I do know what the Master of my soul has for me by faith. As of now nukes are ready to fire. 9 million souls gone. 6 months later 9 million more. Frightening yes. Faith with no fear. Learn quickly. You are already saved, you have your ticket. If not you maybe one of the million. Call on His name, believe the blood shed in your place for your unbelief and sins were made by the only begotten Son....Jesus the Christ. You're saved. ICorinthians chapter 15:1-4. The gospel. Call on His name, believe in your heart... learn John 3:16. This is how you prepare. This is the last warning. This is the end. If you somehow survive the holocaust on our nation know we as the restrainers...believers are gone to the great supper of the Lamb who was sacrificed. Don't take the mark of the beast no matter how hungry you are or wanting. Know Jesus has made the way even now or days from now. Go to the place where the head, your head will role. If you survive the boom. Know Jesus loves you and is there with you. Don't question your steps at this time weather to believe or not. It's down to the wire. Heaven or hedouble ele.

I work from home, paying a mortgage, but praying that God opens a door where I can sell, downsize and be mortgage free; I'm preparing the best I could, with Holy spirit wisdom and guidance. I'm growing tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and potatoes. I have six laying hens. I would love to start a miniature farm. but at 65? Yes, the signs of the times are all around us. For those Christians who are lukewarm, it's time to get in the boat, start nurturing your relationship with Christ, and yearn to abide in Him. God bless you and your beautiful family. I can't even begin to understand why so many Americans seem to glorify communism? You hinted at the atrocities of the early 20th century as to the Holodomor I believe....millions upon millions of people killed by the Bolsheviks/government/communists aka God haters. So much ignorance by these indoctrinated young people (older ones as well). Arrogance as well. They don't even bother to learn about true history. Nothing good has ever resulted from socialism or communism or any type of ism that promises things that are totally unrealistic. All those systems ever bring is suffering, misery, starvation, violence and DEATH to everyone except the ones running the show.

Our power just went out briefly just now. Ooh, glad I have a flashlight 🔦 nearby. I am so happy to hear you say, get right with God & to hear you say no body is perfect, move on. I live in an apartment and am so happy my little 🍅 seeds grew, and I have little baby tomato plants. I think we all have blessings and gifts and yours are shining. Rock on!

Many areas are gone, bridges are gone, animals are gone, several thousands of people are passed away. Water filtration, and heat for Winter, Being able to keep Dry, Generators and gasoline are very important. 4 wheelers are good. Bikes are great.

If you live in an apartment start stocking up canned goods with meat. That’s a start. Then stock up on rice. You can pour your soups over the rice. Buy canned tuna and noodles . Dried milk or canned milk you can make casseroles for your family. Start thinking out of the box..once you’re thinking that way, more ways will come to you.

I convinced my son and DIL to do some prepping but they haven't done it to the degree I would like to see. I totally believe in the saying if we forget our history we are deemed to repeat it - and man is that showing up now.

I had convinced myself and my husband, that due to failing health, we needed to move from a small acreage to a much smaller place in a town not far from us. I found a home that had everything that I wanted, and we would have had at least $100,000 in our pocket after buying that and selling our place. But then a young man came and said "I want to learn." Well, if that isn't a sign, I don't know what is. We'll just hang in here as long as we can, and maybe he can prune our fruit trees, ha ha, because no way can we get up a ladder without coming down the hard way.

I completely understand your (feelings of) frustration and foreboding about what is coming. Christ said "Be ready, for I come in an hour that you think not." Our first and foremost priority in the Christian's life is to reach the lost. "God is faithful to supply those things that we have need of." Will we make serving God our first priority and trust in God for all the "everyday" things we need? There is nothing wrong with preparing for a disaster but our concern for the lost is our highest calling.

the blanket statement that you can grow vegetables on a patio, even in small spaces...you need sunshine. nothing grows without the sun and grow lights cost more than buying food. sometimes its not that you don't know how, or you are not bothering to think...its about the money to make it happen. no matter how you prioritize...everything takes resources.

Everything you said is a quitters excuse. Don't have a quitters attitude and most anything can be done. Imagine if our forefathers had a quitters attitude 🤔. Things in life aren't always easy but where there's a will there's a way. Remember necessity is the mother of all inventions ❤. I have seen people grow vegetables in with flower's and bushes and you'd never know it was there if you weren't told. As for the sun, well it hits all sides but the north facing so😢. Grow in buckets that can be brought in at night and or when you're not gonna be home. Go to yard sales and look for plant carts that you can wheel around from place to place indoors or outdoors ❤. You can use book shelves in front of your east, west, and south facing windows ❤. Plant in hanging baskets on a shepherds hook and you can bring them in the house when needed. See there's all sorts of ways to grow food.

Not much…except put you life completely in God’s hand. I thought prepping was the way to go, it is not. I have been crushed by stress after 10 year’s homesteading. My place is amazing but my body has not been able to keep up. People are dying in outrageous numbers and all ages. Our system is purposely destroying us. I am now bringing people to live with me because I physically can’t. This isn’t going to go down the way we think. It is already gone. I pray we find the faithful to find each other. I have been alone for years and I cry for fellowship. Heaven is where true fellowship is and I must be joyful for that. Thanks for sharing.

I’d rather just do music. It’s unrealistic. So, besides music we have a small farm. We’ve made a lot of mistakes. We’ve learned what we are not good at. Better to know now and build on what we can do. We are bad with rabbits but we can do goats chickens and pigs. We have a cow. Saving seeds but no garden this year for us. We have to focus on fences and breeding animals. We just got Muscovy ducks. My parents have the garden and orchard…. Lots of trial and error. Better to learn now than later.
