- Here's a quick sneak peak on the new features of Alpha 1.3!
I've been really busy with my studies, so the plugin development slowed a bit, but here we go with the new features!
I've added a fully dynamic radiation system, which based on the radiation level it afflicts the living entities in the area. The toxic air expands, so in the future you'll need air purifiers if you want to build a safe zone near!
I've added a working Geiger counter that based on the intensity of the radiation increases its noise, and gas masks.

like.... this dude puts on a gas mask to protect himself from radioactive dust, but direct radiation is still present

Certainly! I am currently planning to create fully modular ICBMs. Once I complete that, I intend to add machines and then consider adding more types of explosives.

Exactly! I can't wait to add air purifiers to the plugin, so I can imagine like extreme factions bases that raiding them means going through extreme levels of radiations!

Hi! This is not a mod but a spigot plugin, so you'll need to host (at least locally) a server to use it. On the Github home page there's a full guide on how to install and use it. If you need assistance feel free to ask on my discord.

Yes! They're planned for the next big update, after 1.3 is completed

No, this project has existed for at least a couple years, but only recently I decided to work on it seriously.
@@mochibit260 I think you need to make the mushroom cloud/FX more like oppenminers, and a little more realistic. Because the stem isn't a straight cylinder, it kind of bends a little in the middle.
@@theminecraftbro661 Hi, thank you for the feedback! I'm working on the new particle system to make this possible! Unfortunately in minecraft vanilla, colored particles can't move and can't be more big than a value. With the new system I'm making, I can make them bigger (and more dense) and more importantly I can move them to simulate a much more realistic smoke effect!
