- Hey Everyone! Welcome to a new kind of video for me. I had a few minutes to myself in my office, which is rare, so I thought I would experiment with a "live style" video instead of a VoiceOver. I get so many questions about how I use my bullet journal so in this video I am sharing the first week of October as well as a daily plan with me. It may be a little bit all over the place because it was completely unplanned, LOL but I really enjoyed making this video. :) Let me know if you like this style of video. I absolutely loved how you did this video, and your bujo! I, too, love getting up early and sitting in silence (if silence means watching bujo youtube videos lol) and drinking my coffee. Thank you for sharing!

No, no, not a silly thing to wake up at 4am. I am the same I cannot function properly if I did not get up at 4am. Literally just to sit quietly with my own thoughts. Very, very happy to meet you. I love this! I've been using a running weekly based on Plant-Based Bride's design, but I love this as well. I'm in a place where my brain is overloaded so while I normally have great memory I think I might benefit from something like this to remind me of what needs to be done at work or home to keep track of what I or my partner need to do around the house. I also love your style of journaling overall - everything you post looks lovely.

Love this video. I was just looking back at me weekly spreads trying to figure out what they didn’t work for me and I think I was over thinking it and not getting much accomplished. Looking at your spread you schedule the everyday tasks to make your and your families lives better. I am going to try that - it is the day to day tasks that makes life worth getting out of bed for! Maybe if I get the basics under control and the extras and life will just fall in place. Love this video very informative.

I always need more time block layout ideas. I don't think I could do one full page per day, but I absolutely love this and got inspo for my next month's layout for sure!
Hi Tracy, another great video. It‘s really amazing how organized you are! I often write things in my to do list for the day but don‘t get them done that day so I have to postpone them… but a planner really helps to get through the day with all the chores. Yes, and I also write down things multiple times so that I don‘t forget them!
Thanks! I definitely transfer things from one day to the next because there just aren’t enough hours in a day but my bullet journal absolutely helps me stay on track as much as possible. 😂
I also use a very minimal weekly and then everything is in the dailies. I don't set it out so much though. My dailies are running and one day might take up a page and another day might take up a third of a page. I use a key do I don't have to split it into sections. That way I can add notes, events and tasks as they come up and I don't write in things I do every day because I do them anyway e.g. laundry and school lunches....I wouldn't forget them because we wouldn't have clothes and my daughter would ask for her lunch etc etc. it is a bit more unstructured but it works so much better in real life.
That is the absolute best thing about bullet journals, what works for one person may not work for another but we can all share our ideas and pick and choose what works best for our situation. ❤️ I am completely jealous that you don't have to write down the everyday tasks. If I didn't write down every single thing I would 100% forget about it! Especially laundry! 🤣

This was great! I just got my first bujo yesterday and spent four hours playing with it. I have been studying your content and getting so many ideas! I did a weekly spread and feel like it’s too small to fit everything, so this video is well timed. I’m going to switch to daily for a bit and see how it goes. ❤

I love your spreads! I've always been told one page per day is a bit much, but I just can't make it work on less space for me. Nice to see others do it too. As for your diffusers, you might have bought them too small? You need to look at your room sizes, and then the diffusers should say how big a room they will scent. Sorry, English is not my native language, so I hope it makes sense.
Another thing that may be your issue, is the oils you're using, either the quality or you are not using enough, but I am going to assume your diffuser came with instructions on how much to use.
Thank you so much! It may be the diffuser size. I bought them from Target so they may not be big enough. I tried to buy better quality oils, the Doterra brand so hopefully that's not the problem. LOL. Oils can get pricey!

It's so neat to see your layout, thanks so much for sharing ^^ Also just cuz I'm curious haha since you wake up so early what time-ish do you go to bed? I'm also a morning person so I've considered waking up earlier to have time for myself before going to work but my friends and bf already sometimes make fun of me for going to bed at 10pm cuz I need my full 8 hours xD
I shut the whole house down at 8:30. 🤭 The kids don't have to go to sleep but we are all winding down and in our rooms at 8:30. It seems pretty strict and I'm sure to people who love being awake late at night it sounds horrible but when my kids were younger 2 of them had a lot of trouble sleeping and an earlier bedtime made our lives so much easier so we've just always gone to bed early, it's just what works for us. I don't actually fall asleep until 9:30ish though. My husband makes fun of me ALL THE TIME about how early we go to bed but I think secretly he enjoys having a quiet house that early in the evening.
