yeah i honestly didn’t really care for her character and wish she sortve just went back to being a DA after Season 4 but i guess for some reason they wanted her to actually be important to the story when it’s not really necessary
@luciusvik7294 you say that knowing flash can literally steal your momentum and make you a breathing statue, there's also reverse flash and godspeed. Tell me you don't watch the show and just felt like complaining lol
I hate that they retconned her powers, had her say "I'm not a mind reader, CHester", and expected us not to noticed. The writers really lost their minds after season 4.
Her pregnancy is what caused her powers to activate and giving birth is what made them fluctuate. So when Cecile had the baby she lost almost all her powers and had to regain them. Her powers then got boosted by the sage force + all psychics in the city. Her using the mask allowed her to tap into her powers further and become virtue.
@@cyanidiot6377 It still doesn’t make sense because we see in this video that when she gained her powers back after she had Jenna she was still a mind reader. Then they randomly switched to empath out of nowhere.
I actually love Cecile Horton, she has both natural chemistry with Team Flash and she brings motherly energy/personality to the group. Plus she and Joe West are very nice together but I think he should have proposed earlier before season 9. But I digress. I know Barry never mentioned it, if Joe was a second dad to him, Cecile would probably the closest thing he would have to a second mom.
The writing went wrong after season four. It's like we forgot about certain things. I am still debating about rewatching flash after the show ended. I have rewatched arrow, Supergirl, legends of tomorrow, even black lightning of all seasons. The flash is hard for me because somewhere the writers lost there focus. Don't get me wrong the other shows lost focus at some point but the groundwork of the show did not change
I still cannot believe she is Shaundi in Saints Row. I liked Cecile because she was like Joe. An ordinary human that puts up with the insanity of superpowers time travel and the multiverse. But then they OP’d her to the point she was the equivalent of Jean Grey.
They just had to give everyone a corny ass suit just like they did in supergirl. Why could they just leave her as a regular damn person? I’m pretty sure they considered giving Joe a suit at some point 😅
Not gonna lie I've always been a stickler to everyone having power or some type of ability but it was for certain characters, like supergirl & The false to that away ,like they should had kept her only at empty or telepathy. And should have Cj somehow developed that portal thing into something.
I really dislike how Cecil became so involved in the main cast. She's not the only one but why do they do this. It especially ot bad in the final seasons. With characters like Chester, his girlfriend ( can't remember her name) and of course Cecil.
I didn’t mind Cecile having more importance and given storylines, but she basically became the main character of the show at certain points. It was so irritating!
If always made me mad how they changed her powers from telepathy to empathy and acted like we just didn’t notice.

Side note, the actress playing Cecil is absolutely gorgeous

She's basically over power for no reason. Everyone else stays with one power but for her she gets so much more.

@jeannguyen3199 They do that a lot unfortunately
It made me so mad!!!!

seems like they developed her character more than the flash.
Yeah she had way more character development. It was fine when she was a mind reader and a mother. Also i love how we forgot about her eldest daughter

5:52 They kept the door open for the camera man lol

I first saw her in the 90s in that Jackson 5 TV movie with Angela Bassett
Way to go she is good

I want an action figure of her ASAP.

So she pretty much became Jean Grey lol
5:19 which episode was this? Someone help me out!
21:29 mistress strange
Her powers are nice. She could be Goddess Athena.
Wish she was still a side character
Didn't she get her powers from jenna why didnt they ever show jenna use her power or come from the future to help out.
Is she a anti-hero or a hero?🤔
A hero
Barely-hero
Cecile was the WORST!!!!!!! She was one of this things that killed the show!
No she wasn't lol
flop
