Such a wonderful tribute to Ivar. The music is perfect and well edited. No matter how many times I've rewatched "The Last Act" and seeing Ivar's last scene I break down. Alex Høgh Andersen is such an amazing actor and deserves so many awards for his performance on the show. #LongliveIvartheBoneless
Bro' I wish him all best,to be strong ,vice, and good health and BRAVE...I waiting....to give my son name IVAR,MY girl and is pregnant we are not from Skandinavians ,but who knows?💪 Vikings are going to the whole Europe....⚡👊🍀
Despite Ivar's physical disability, he had great wisdom, he was cunning, and a mastery of strategy and tactics in battle. He was the most brilliant of them all!
The way he said he was afraid as he lay dying was so sad.. and it wasn’t even because he was afraid of death; it was cuz he was afraid of being forgotten and of not having lived a life to be remembered by.. and then Hvitserk assured him in his last moments that nobody would ever forget Ivar the Boneless :((
I think if ivar knew no other Person could kill him and he saw how his father ended up and probably thought he was going to end up like that so he let himself die in battle
They are now using a certain kind of magic mushroom to treat post traumatic stress and depression, this is why vikings may have took it, one to enduse phycotic strength and stanema also to treat ptsd in war. it's done very well for depression. A few doctors have gone to the Amazon to learn from tribes about strong halucanatives to treat illnesses and been blown away by the results. There are some books on it and one doctor wonders how they got this information living in places like the Amazon and they said through spirits lol. Also we use snake poison in cancer treatment. They used to drink it to stop cancer and have immunity to snake bites but if it goes on your blood your dead.
Very moving....I have lost both my parents too and I have felt enraged just like him, even now. But Let's focus on this amazingly complex character. First I think that he dies easily, I mean what the heck ? That's it ? Then I think it should have been better if he hadn't said "I'm afraid" at the very end, it doesn't fit with his previous line when he says that all his life has been a preparation to this. Better if he has said nothing at the very end. Then Many Vikings fans think that the whole part with the Rus is kinda pointless, they don't see the meaning of this all. Well the way I see it, its purpose was to make Ivar human again after being such a cruel "god" ruler. In any case, Ivar the Boneless will always remain my hero.
Im sorry to hear about your parents, its great to have a character to relate to especially one that you really like and I could'nt agree more with you 😁
You said it beautifully, perfect. Again a hero to us that have felt pain but have carried on.but it was important to me so much that he said that he was afraid!! He was- as we all are in the end, we need to know that we mattered and to know that we were truly loved.
I think the fact that he said that he was in fact afraid meant that he finally understood that he was only human after all, that he had human emotions such as fear …Vikings are conditioned from birth not to fear death , death is not the end but just a pathway into the next life which is why the anglosaxons were terrified by the Vikings when they fought in the battlefield, the Beserkers and Koryos were feared by all ..also let’s not forget that this was literally the first time Ivar WALKED onto a battlefield “ alone “ , other times he was on his chariot with all his brothers but walking onto it on his crutches and seeing all the madness , swords , arrows and axes flying all over the place , men being engulfed in balls of fire , he saw the devastation at one point you even hear him shouting “ what am l supposed to do ?! “ . It’s a natural reaction when you are looking at death straight in eyes , there is a natural instinct to want to survive no matter how conditioned you are “ you can’t kill me ! Do you know who l am? “ …when he saw that young foot soldier come up to him , lvar who is a trained assassin could have slashed that soldier if he wanted to but , no, he lost all his bravado and rendered himself to his fate , to the fate he believed he deserved ( l’ve worked all my life for this) …and in his brother’s arms you can still hear Ivar say “not today” at the very end as he drew his last breath… he still would have had some type type of future if he had survived and looked for Katia and his son , l suppose he realized that he also missed out on that type of love however brief it was
IVAR în istorie a fost cel mai mare rege al vikingilor. Un adevărat GENIU!!!👑🛡️🗡️

Great editing
When ivar left the kind I started crying and when Ivar said I’m afraid when he was crying I started crying 😥😭😭
When ivar left the kid* sorry I said the kind lol
Prob more true to life when you hear of ww1 and 2 and what they said before leaving the world.
I think if ivar knew no other Person could kill him and he saw how his father ended up and probably thought he was going to end up like that so he let himself die in battle
I never forget you 💯
When ivar is dying and he's brother says I won't tell anyone that hit
Remember they did mushrooms back then so its perfectly fine for ivar to hallucinate and cry in battle and death
