If you want some bloody good biltong (the perfect camping snack), then make sure you use the code SGW10 to get 10% off your order. www.barbellfoods.com.au
Great video, keep up the good work. How do you find all these amazing areas where you are allowed to camp and have fires? I have been trying to find a place where I can go bushwalking and camp but to no avail.
From an Aboriginal man, I love your classy nods to culture and your obvious appreciation and care for the land and water. You're doing amazing stuff mate.
Year ago today I landed in Australia for the first time. My son emigrated 5 years ago had not seen him and his wife and our first grandson for 4 years. He is on his way to taking Aussie citizenship. Scotty your making a old Pom very happy with your videos. He has embraced all Australia has to offer and I now know why he loves AU so much. Keep em coming mate…
As a person of colour I say may we always pay our respects to our great Australian, European and British pioneers and explorers who have made our great country what it is today…….Australia is for all Australians, always was always will be ❤️🇦🇺
Yet another cracking video Scotty! It’s my monthly dose of pure relaxation. I know that you don’t like to pinpoint exact locations in order to not spoil the area, however it would be great if you could give a rough idea where each place you travel to is for those that don’t know whereabouts you are in Oz, or for those looking to make their own adventure that like that particular terrain or style of walk.
Amazing country mate. Such beautiful areas. As for the Carp yes they are a pest and I know most hate them but they are great sport too and in NSW it is legal to return them. As for eating them dispatch it immediately or out them on ice, don't let them sit in a keep net or die on the bank as they taste like crap if you do that. Once dead fillet and skin then and cook like you would any other fish. The smell is in the skin so once that is gone they smell like any other fish. They have heaps of small bones which is their biggest problem when eating but they do taste good if done right. Check out an old UA-cam channel I ran fir my old fishing club, Aussie Carp Fishos, there is a video on there about cooking them and a few tips about catching them. Grab a size 6 suicide hook and some white bread or 2-3 kernels of corn, no weight if you can. Lay the rod flat held up by a couple sticks and leave the bail arm open. That's a very basic but effective way as they drop the bait when they feel resistance. Leaving them on the bank to die/rot only encourages other pests such as the wild pigs and cats as they love to eat them.
Hey Scotty, this was the first video I saw of you. I don't know what I was more enthusiastic about, whether it was the location that left me speechless because it was so incredibly beautiful, or whether it was your likeable charisma and gentle way of speaking. How you report about nature, the indigenous people and your thinking really got me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Warm greetings from Germany. Light and love for you! 🙏
I have said before I would have loved a brother like Scotty so grounded and a real knowledgeable guy who respects the land and the true origins of Australia always acknowledging the aboriginal people and their long historical link to the land. ❤
Thanks as always for bringing this glorious wilderness to us. I've been watching all your videos over the past couple of months ... am almost caught up! Keep up your amazing work. I for one appreciate all the effort you go to to bring us these amazing videos. Especially the 4am starts! :)
The reason why I always come to watch your videos is that you appreciate everything that's around you and that makes me so glad. It just makes us feel like we're over there too.❤
They were some fussy fish 😂. That cave was cool, but that second camp spot was gorgeous. The wildlife was so abundant. Thanks for taking us on your adventures.
Love it love it love it!! The exploring, the cave camping, the gourmet meals under the stars... thanks for sharing and feeding my adventure addiction 🤩
Tried out my hammock for the first time today, had it for like 6 months. Who would have thought getting off the grass would get you away from like 90% of the ants? But yeah, mid winter; clear skies :)
Got a Bush RECIPE for ya Scotty! My man and I watch all your videos and he wanted me to tell you this recipe. Bacon Fire Potatoes! Take from home a washed spud wrapped in foil. (Or two) Bacon. 1 Onion. Grated cheese (grate at home and take in a bag) Sour cream. Bake spud in foil in the fireplace. Fry half the onion with the bacon. Chop other half of onion finely to throw on the top. Assemble on plate thus: Baked spud, cheese, bacon, cooked onion, sour cream, and throw over whats left of the uncooked onion. ... and ENJOY! Simple but DELICIOUS !!! From Shane and Megan in NSW out near the Pilliga.
Scotty that cave was unreal! You’ve really upped your cooking game mate. The Gnocchi was so Bougee and the toasted almonds was the bomb. Keep the good content coming mate
So envious with your spots mate. Up here in Queensland they won't let us camp anywhere except the handful of paid sites, and they usually aren't fantastic. It makes me very tempted to get a couple of mates and drive down into northern NSW for a couple of days.
I really appreciate the skill you put into the audio track. The birdlife calls add so much to conveying the landscape. I would love to know the general area in which you filmed this adventure. Your work is top notch.
I never want your videos to end! Such beautiful scenery and wildlife. I haven’t been able to get away for a single camping trip this year, but I’m planning one for September to Blackdown Tablelands in Queensland. I can’t wait!🏕️
Gday Scotty, wow what an amazing vlog. U capture the real Australia and it's times like these that I can reflect on home while Im overseas with these brilliant videos, cheers scotty
Thank you Scotty for sharing this and the beauty of Aussie country. Love all your posts and always looking out for new ones. Enjoying this from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi
Those marks on the rocks where the local mob had been sharping their tools were really cool Scotty. You can just imagine them sitting their living their lives - spear fishing and hunting. It would have been a beautiful place to live.
Travelling through South America at the minute and having the odd homeswick spell. Your videos are always what I go to when I need to remind myself what’s waiting at home for me. Cheers Scotty!
Another cracking video. The wildlife was amazing, shame about the wombats. Scenery was epic as usual, you are so blessed. Take care, be safe. ❤ Dorset, UK
Your dinner looked delicious, 😋 I need to get the ingredients and make myself .. When you woke up on the sandy beach, how cool and real Aussie was that magpie sound first thing in the morning.. Catch you on the next video Scotty, stay safe out there 🏕🐟
The place is so nice it looks man made and yeah it looks like a park. Amazing. Im sure i'm not gonna get to experience it first hand ever in my lifetime but atleast i can see it through a screen. so thank you for sharing it with us Scotty. Cheers from Singapore
Carp despite their reputation are so fun to catch but are notorious for wrapping you on the branch snags. As soon as you hit the hook I was shouting at my screen get it away from those roots. But yeh corn does do wonders especially at first light.
There's nothing better than worms to catch fish, and to catch flathead, you put a red piece of plastic tubing on the end of your line, before the hook and sinker😉👍
I’m new to your channel and already well and truly hooked (unlike that carp!!! 🙊) Thanks for sharing such a beautiful place - busting to know where it is but I 100% appreciate that you’re not broadcasting the location 💛 I’ve recently spent time in a pretty special place in the NT and found INCREDIBLE petroglyphs and grinding stones. Puts everything into perspective hey? Cheers Samm (in NE Vic)
Do you take a camera with you on your fabulous journeys? I would imagine that with the amazing scenery, magical natural light and the wonders of Mother Nature at hand, you could take many spectacular photos in colour or black and white?? Keep up the great work 👍🏻
Great video Scotty. Majestic Aussie scenery at its best. The wombats were so cute! Heartbreaking to see that little guy with the mange. Wish we had the over here in the West 💜💜
I watch a lot of documentaries on UA-cam and learn a lot from them. But this weekend, I just thought "bugger it" I need to just relax and not get mad or hyped up watching these doco's, instantly, I went to your latest video and it calmed me down straight away..... Truly Amazing, I never realised it had this effect before, but Yes, kind, soft caring nature of the video is what I needed, and just to see some Australian Bushland (although I do live in a country town, it's just farmland around). Somewhere, where I probably will never get in person, I can see it through your UA-cam channels eyes. Thankyou so very much for taking the time to go out and make these beautiful video's of Australia.
Beautiful spot Scotty our country is a wondrous place from the outback deserts to the great divide and everything in between I love it all and I have been lucky enough to see a huge amount of this land.
Absolutely beautiful video. loved all of the amazing wildlife moments, the views the formations of rock and river, the indiginous mentions were fantastic. Thank you
Thanks for the frozen toes, the beautiful shoot, the history and the animals! Some creeks could call you up into them forever. Thanks for going as far as you do for us back home. 🙏
Hey Scotty amazing adventure love seeing the wildlife poor little wombat. Question what the style hat is that you are wearing? Love the channel and the content you put out stay safe my friend

Great video! My go-to fish line hook knot is the polymer knot. Quick and strong. Thanks for taking is into the Australian bush it's beautiful
You have a good heart Scotty !
Great video, keep up the good work. How do you find all these amazing
areas where you are allowed to camp and have fires? I have been trying to find a place where I can go bushwalking and camp but to no avail.
you should invest in some night motion cameras so you can see what animals come near you while you sleep
From an Aboriginal man, I love your classy nods to culture and your obvious appreciation and care for the land and water. You're doing amazing stuff mate.
Thanks a lot mate. Appreciate it.

The sight of the campfire, with the sound of currawongs above, amazing
I love that at the end you say "it's time to get back to the real world" when in fact this is more real than the real world😂
Time to grab a beer
🍺🇭🇲❤️👍

That poor wombat, but the little Willy Wagtail was really sweet. This video was just what I needed tonight. Thank you!😊

It seems to me like things might be a little tough for you at the moment. I hope you're okay bro. Take care of yourself. ❤
I cooked your gnocchi with zucchini and pumpkin with roasted almonds. OMG totally amazing. Thank you for this! Great vids man keep it up.
I hate to admit it. But its a min, since I watched your videos.
Gotta say your editing, content and cinematography has gotten professional. Well done.
Man my favourite part of your Chanel is the food
The reason why I always come to watch your videos is that you appreciate everything that's around you and that makes me so glad. It just makes us feel like we're over there too.❤
I’d be getting out my neoprene socks for those crossings! Incredible spot. Rare to come across meadows like that. Thanks for sharing 😊
Wonderful footage. Thanks for sharing. Watching from the UK. Please keep spoiling us with your adventures. Stay safe.
They were some fussy fish 😂. That cave was cool, but that second camp spot was gorgeous. The wildlife was so abundant. Thanks for taking us on your adventures.
Thanks for a nice video! 👍Beautiful nature ! 💚Greetings from Finland's southern archipelago!😃
Pretty special to capture that Lyrebird man! Well done!
Thanks for sharing another great adventure with us. Beautiful scenery and wildlife, so well captured.
We love playing, where's Scotty filming from 😂
You can feel the humbleness coming out of this guy well done mate I wish I can do what you do
I was at this river just the other day! Such a special spot, and so many creatures!
What river is it? Seems many of the potential places to access rivers around Sydney anyway are always private property and locked gates.

Always nice to have a sunny day over winter. The grooves in stone for tools was awesome.
Travelling through South America at the minute and having the odd homeswick spell. Your videos are always what I go to when I need to remind myself what’s waiting at home for me. Cheers Scotty!
Thanks mate. Enjoy your time in South America. I spent 6 months travelling there a few years back.
It doesn't help with the temperature, but I carry a pair of Crocs on a caribeener on my pack for river crossings, and to wear with socks around camp.
Beautiful!!!!! Where is this? The old man loves your vids and we have bets on the location😂
Oh man, it just gets more & more beautiful mate. Spring is on its way to you buddy. Stunningly beautiful country.
Thank you for this very relaxing video
Thanks for sharing your adventures, NC USA 🇺🇸
maybe it’s time to start some cold water immersion - 8 degrees is a nice refresher after a long hike :-)
Another cracking video. The wildlife was amazing, shame about the wombats. Scenery was epic as usual, you are so blessed. Take care, be safe. ❤ Dorset, UK
Love your vids mate, regular TV is dying for a reason. I know what I’d rather tune in to 🙌🏼

Catch you on the next video Scotty, stay safe out there 🏕🐟
Thank you again Scotty, your videos always lift and remind me that the World is still a good place.
I’m glad you’ve discovered the old fashioned BIC fire starting technology :-)
The place is so nice it looks man made and yeah it looks like a park. Amazing. Im sure i'm not gonna get to experience it first hand ever in my lifetime but atleast i can see it through a screen. so thank you for sharing it with us Scotty. Cheers from Singapore
Great gnocchi meal.
Brilliant Scotty. I regularly watch your videos to zone out to, its the next best thing I can do for a quick fix to all my stresses of the day. 👏
You guys are lucky with your weather down there in AUS. In North Dakota the winters are 5-6 months of snow and negative cold as fuck temps. 🤙🏼
Awesome! Enough said.
Carp despite their reputation are so fun to catch but are notorious for wrapping you on the branch snags. As soon as you hit the hook I was shouting at my screen get it away from those roots. But yeh corn does do wonders especially at first light.
Your winter puts our summer to shame! Another lovely video and trip!
Everything I love about our home you pack into your vids, wonderful location, top winters days at the moment.
Turn your sound up bro I can't hear ya in ft smith arkansas usa .good job
There's nothing better than worms to catch fish, and to catch flathead, you put a red piece of plastic tubing on the end of your line, before the hook and sinker😉👍
Scotty ,if you add some garlic powder to your corn the night before you go fishing ,you will increase the bites.
Good one Scotty, very enjoyable to watch.
Scotty longtime watcher first time comment - the footage of the Lyrebird 💥💥💥 just amazing and your content never disappoints 🙏
I’m new to your channel and already well and truly hooked (unlike that carp!!! 🙊)
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful place - busting to know where it is but I 100% appreciate that you’re not broadcasting the location 💛

Thanks so much Scotty for this video/film- it was so well shot. Very picturesque and I would think, a sacred place for the TO’s.
Looks like a great trip, loved to see all the different wildlife, how beautiful!
if you ever get the chance to do a winter camping trip in Algonquin Park with full hot tent set up and some ice fishing!👌
Don’t stop doing what you’re doing mate🤙🏼
The Superior Lyrebirds in Cathedral Range in Vic are pretty bold, and if you sit quietly they give some pretty amazing sound displays.
