For Explanation, Arid is based on Soviet Afghanistan (Soviet backed socialist government/Occupied Afghanistan during or after the Soviet afghan war) which is why you can see the soviet flags,gear, zombies and vehicles all around the map like the MIG-21, Afghanka uniform Zombies and others.
The Soviet flag can mean twi things in my opinion, either the map is set in 1980s Afghanistan, around the time the Soviet Union tried to annex Afghanistan, or it was left there when the war happened.

btw those landmines deal probebly from 500 to 1000 dammage to players i used an full op set and tested them and they dealt like 13 to 20 dammage yeah keep away but oh boy that sweet mid air u will get if u survive
