My mods are just about all the same, and I also do a lot of winter camping vs summer. One thing I would recommend is to go to three Bluetooth victron solar charge controllers one for door side solar one for off door side and one for portable solar. Connect them all together with a Victron Bluetooth shunt using the VE direct smart networking function on the app and it will provide a welcome increase in your solar charging vs current setup you have. I chose three smaller controllers vs one large one so that I’m not dead in the water should one fail.
Absolutely the best video for mods that I have seen. Wife and I are picking up our new MM 2108DS, 6/24/2001. This will be our 23rd RV and I am sure I will use many of your mods. Thanks !
my frist time coming across your videos. This overal tour being the first. you are really cool, well spoken and confident. Entertaining as well. Keep it up, and thank you
Thanks! Yeah working on better filming but copy will never happen. I hate writing. let me know if you need to see anything specific and I can email you some videos
Very impressive. Safety is good, preparedness is good. Extra safety and preparedness is even better. Looking forward to watching the vids about the installation of all the electrical lines and hosing.
Thanks. They are already out. search my channel for those. I'm a winter camper and my season is just about to start to more RV content coming your way!
I'm exhausted and my credit card is melting just watching your video. Great job. I'm definitely saving this for reference. You need to figure out how to install something like iN-Command to run all those switches from your phone.
Well done, Warrick. I've been waiting to see these mods and I can't wait to see the individual mod videos. The additional tanks, tank heaters and macerator installations are high on my list to see. BTW-It was fun to see your circle lake adventure through those videos. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks. It has taken longer than expected to get these videos out but now that the weather is better it makes it easier to film outside! I’ll put those videos on the top of the list! Thanks for watching the Lake Tour! Utah next month!!
Wow so well done. This was my first visit to your channel. I really enjoyed it. I’ve only been camping/over landing for 26 years and picked up some great ideas!
You my man are a pro, what a great video very detailed & outstanding ideas! The knowledge that you bring from all the years you have experienced and willing to pass on, I feel like I just gained 10 years of knowledge in 25 min.
Good evening good sir, our family is getting our first travel trailer this summer and I stumbled upon your video looking for ideas on how to mod my new Jayco Trailer. All I have to say is thank you. This was golden for a newcomer and I am very thankful for your hard work. New subscriber!
Lots of nice mods…one that I love that you don’t have is solid step with extended hand rail. Takes the bounce out of the steps. With all the holes you have done I hope you do not get leaks as water intrusion teaks havoc on a travel trailer floor.
Wonderfully detailed video. I like the many safety related upgrades, three fire extinguishers, extra CO monitor, lock box for thermostat, hitch upgrade, extra water tanks, etc. Will be consulting this video and links in the coming months. Thanks so much!
The one thing that stood out to me is the attachable storage of the axes on the inside of the basement panels. I don’t see a link to what you used here but this is ingenious! Space saving at its best!!!
Great video, thanks for posting. TIP: Use you rear water tanks first moving your weight to the front of your camper will give you much better stability when on the road. There are many videos to prove that.
Great video I'm grateful I found you. We have 2106 FBS , which we love . Your modifications are extremely well thought out and installed in a highly professional manner. I look forward to future videos.
Make sure that you get tire covers for the roof. the sun will rot the tires out 5 times faster than the ones on the trailer. Great job on the upgrades...
@@GasTachs How did you mount the tires? I despise the bumper mount. I wonder if it would be a good idea to put the spare for the truck up there also...
Some great, practical ideas. I think it's a tie between the insulation and tank drain system upgrades. Definitely needed to eliminate the low hanging plumbing for off road use. Totally confused about the hitch mod. For off-road/overlanding, I would prefer an articulating hitch.
Thanks. As for the the hitch setup it more for comfort across the board. The bounce and sway of the camper is absorbed down the road or off road stopping that transfer of momentum to the Tow Vehicle. Articulating hitch isn't really needed for something this size... IMO
Just found your video on your mods. I am amazed at your storage in your “basement” for storing on your doors. How did you do it and with what kind of brackets did you use. I know the video is 3 years old but I just bought my trailer and I want to utilize all the space I can.
I am interested in the pass through door mounts that you have your axes on. Is that something modified to fit or is it something you can buy. My pass through door is much smaller but would like to clip a few things on it.
Buy a tire cover for each of your spare tires chief. Exposure to the sun without rolling on the road can age the tires and cause premature cracking on the sun facing sides. Trying to figure out your accent. I'm guessing Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, thereabouts?
Amazing video and thank you for having such a details list with links to purchase most of these items. What are you using to mount your bolt cutters/axe/etc to the back side of your basement doors? I looked through your list and didn’t see that one. Thanks!
Right on! Amazing rig you have there. I'm about to purchase the winnebago flx trailer soon. We're a family of 5 and I like to go to more remote "off grid" places for 3-5 days. What are your top 5-10 recommended favorite upgrades of everything that you've done?
Great video! Couple questions please. What fasteners do you use to attach things to interior and exterior walls... And, can you explain how your tv mount works. 1st rv, I have a 2019 2108 Micro Minnie. Thanks. Again, love the content.

Thanks, here is a link amzn.to/3kgceDX. BUT if you look at the video I attached these to a piece of aluminum and then attached the aluminum to the frame on the door as the middle is hollow
Very nice rig! I would recommend fire blankets/fiberglass blankets to you as well, especially around the kitchen and near the propane grill. I’m very interested in your solar setup
Wow looks amazing!!! Love your Gladiator videos, given me a tons of ideas for my 2021, anything tricky with using the factory installed wiring harness for the aux switch panel? Thanks again brother, all your work is very appreciated

My set up is exactly like yours, except for the add-ons, organization, advance planning and attention to detail. Great job!

Great video, thanks for posting. TIP: Use you rear water tanks first moving your weight to the front of your camper will give you much better stability when on the road. There are many videos to prove that.
No stability problems here. 24,000 miles later. Always drain the front tank first. But yes good tip if that was a problem.
Not to mention it's an extra 640#, must be close to the maximum weight rating.
Wow. Excellent video. Not sure why you don’t have 100K subscribers!! New sub right here!
Now you need two RF connected smoke detectors with one in basement where your solar/LFP installed. Looks great.

What is the mounts you used for the storage doors that hood your axe and hatchet.
I had to make the brackets and found the mounts at a hardware store sorry

No this one but a different model. I have one on my Jeep Gladiator when I tow other types of trailers (boats, car haulers etc) amzn.to/3x7grBi
