But, now you're all about high-end and wealthy expats, smoking cigars and drinking wine in their country clubs. Don't get me wrong, obviously, there is a market for that as you are demonstrating, but, most of us aren't going to join expensive country clubs, and if we pay 2k a month for rent, we might as well stay here in the US.

I understand Scott. These clients of mine living on a higher budget are just a small fraction of the expats I work with. Majority however live on a fixed income, normal SS / pension and still live a great lifestyle out here! I’ll do my best to showcase that from here on out.

The rent includes high speed internet, and I can drink the tap water... Sounds like the Phils needs to get over itself a lil bit
You might be underestimating the stubborness of Pinoy investors. I've seen high end housing sit vacant for 10 years without selling or tennanting just because some owner has figures in their head nobody is willing to pay. The benchmark price of any RE in the country is the highest anyone ever paid in the street or building.
Really appreciate this series, thank you. The last one in Ortigas is impeccable, but the seconds amenities, e.g., gym, access to restaurants would probably be a better fit for me. If you can, in the future, referencing where these are on a map might really help. I'm moving to the BGC area and would like to be within walking distance to anything I may want. While I have been to the area a few times, the places you show aren't referenced to a fixed location, even to a grocery or shopping center. Second, thank you for slowing down the pan. It really does help rather than rewinding the clip like I normally do. Thirdly, is the furnishing negotiable? Can some items be excluded? I would rather not be so cluttered with others' possessions, nor responsible for their care/maintenance. Definitely will be reaching out in the future. Love the channel. Grey

For sure! I’d say Philippines is 2nd most expensive country in SE second to Singapore. For most, you have to weigh out if the hospitable people, English speaking culture, and western amenities is worth the cost of living as opposed to a country like Vietnam or Thailand for instance.

If I was ready to move, either one of these units could be on my list, but especially that 3rd one. For someone that plans on getting the digital nomad visa when it comes out, these would be perfect to work out of for a year or two. I think a lot of people see mainly moving to the Philippines as a way to retire cheaper, not the case for all of us wanting to move there. Long run yes, but my plan is work from there for 2 years, use those years to travel on weekends I have off to explore other areas for retirement.
I stay in BGC tower 2 above Landers. I like that its in BGC and when I am gone on business everything is walkable for my wife. I dont think its like that in this building you are showing BUT>>>>>>
Hold off on renting condos for at least 18 months. Metro Manila condos are currently in a bubble due to 60% oversupply of units. Also the listings are overpriced by 30-40%. The reason of the over inflated prices is because of those POGO operators who can afford those exorbitant rents. Now they are mostly gone and so many units have been vacant for months now. Better rent a house with a big yard. They cost less. Only lazy ass people rent condominiums nowadays.

It has 6 huge malls close to each other, walkable, near Greenfields district, I love the zoning design of the Otigas Center, near Greenhills Mandaluyong, also walkable towards the beautiful Capitol Commons with lots of Western Restaurants, Boutiques, Furnitures, beautiful greeneries and Ortigas is also near the Eastwood City and the Bridgetown, and you can go to Araneta Center in Cubao or Ayala Trinoma and the super huge SM North EDSA via the MRT which has access inside the huge Shang-rila Mall and Hotel near the MRT beside the one of the biggest Mall in the world, the SM Megamall also beside the luxury Podium Mall in St. Francis Square. Everything is here in this CBD. Be practical. The Powerplant condo buildings have just a very small area, and, my God, overpriced!!! The greedy ownerrs of that condos near the powerplant mall does not realize Philippinea is a 3rd World Country and he overpriced the condos? My God! Ortigas actually is my Top1 CBD since 1990s.
These are nice units, what are the lease terms? Are these prices all inclusive (all building fees & utilities, wifi, etc)? I assume these units have generators and 24/7 security. How about the elevators, are they zoned and 100% operational? I like these units and appreciate seeing these properties, though I do believe these are a bit overpriced. how negotiable are they?
