Am I understanding correctly your supposed to use the latches from the drivers door on the passenger side and the passenger side on the drivers side? Just the rear doors or the front too? What’s the purpose of that?
We flip the rear latches from side to side allows us to get the proper body line we needed. With the latches on oem position they stand up so tall . So to lower door body line this is what we had to do.

Do you use the factory rubber on the front door latch
you can use it or leave it out I like to use it makes them more quiet
