My parents never got me tested to see if I had/have autism. I asked why, and she said, "I have seen that label discourage people with autism. They felt limited. I wanted you to feel limitless." I have binged your channel because I am really into this guy with autism. I wanted to learn more about his diagnosis but have found so much I could relate to. I have grown well and have no intention on getting tested, but I just was shocked to relate so heavily.
I love when people info dump on things they love, it's just so appealing😊 also just found this channel love u guys u r so cute together😍 On a side note, what Jess said about being random in a conversation I totally am that way! My ex used to say he thought I have ADHD because I would flip from one subject to the next and a lot of the missing links were happening in my head so it seemed random. It used to bother him that I had trouble concentrating on a topic that didnt really interest me (which incidentally he often info dumps). I am really bad at evaluating myself and my personality, but sometimes I wondered if I am on the spectrum or not. It's really hard because I have a lot of trouble looking at the big picture of my life and noticing the details that might be signs pointing at key aspects of who I am unless someone else points it out to me. Also I sometimes feel like what's the point in looking for a diagnoses if I seem to be doing ok in my life? Like, why would I want a label? Anyways sorry guys for the LONG comment😆
This is awesome! I would definitely love to hear more! A combination of info dumping and going off on interesting tangents is a significant part of homeschool discussions in my family (eventually, a large number of topics get tied into Star Trek Deep Space Nine and/or Cardassia (by myself or my son) or to World War II or to beavers, rats, and other rodents (by my son). A few possible topics for info dumping: Star Trek Deep Space Nine Cardassia Rodents Dinosaurs The depiction of autistic and autistic-coded characters in Star Trek Deep Space Nine (and/or TNG and/or TOS) Learning second, third, etc. languages informally versus in a classroom setting

This is so great. I’d love more. Listening to Nathan excitedly infodump about Star Wars is exactly how I give infodumps on ready player one that nobody asked for! I’d love to be able to do that one day and not see people’s eyes glaze over. Watching you two has been great
Info dumping ...Because we pick up on patterns (in my opinion) and so many things can come up that relate in some way that we do understand and that how we jump topics like how characters can play in different movies and different roles... one of those roles were a character that was a professor of a subject that you found fascinating and how that is actually used in the world and how the world has current events like political corruption and the criminal justice system and corruption there. Also the environmental issues which leads to biology and saving the planet by inventing a product that is worth investing in. Investing... stock markets, different countries..... the list of connections are endless. And this doesn’t include any particular specifics of each topic this is just an outline. Which brings me to ....🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is awesome! I have a feeling info dump is going to be amazing! I did know about the poop particles- so gross! My autistic boyfriend info dumps and I love it. We are each a plethora of useless knowledge, so we feed off each other's info dumps. I never knew about autistic relationships being stronger.
I feel smarter than others but also dumber socially but i kno i understand things at a higher level that most kids in school...i was always top kid in class but still feel like i got autism or adhd that got worst after high school and me not being around people....do i have somethin or need to just be around people again
this is so cool, i would definitely want more of this:) also info dump on queer representation in movies, if you like (and please don't read my username out loud, it makes me very dysphoric and i haven't gotten to changing it yet...)
Woohoo, first out of the blocks! Now i want to read that masters thesis. Nowhere enough information on Autistic relationships in the webs. Autistic relationships seem much easier than the regular variety. We are thinking of starting our own channel as many of our conversations turn into the differences and similarities between us and how much that relates to men and women generally.
Love this idea so much. I have been practicing my 30-second elevator speech about my latest enthusiasm and this feels so satisfying. Hope you do more of this! ❤️
The moment the info dump started, I had to pause the video to stop laughing, because the wording, the passion, the everything -- it's just so me, and I'm still so excited every single time I see things I can relate to in autistic people, because I only recently discovered that I am most probably one of you, and this is the first time in my life when I finally see someone who's not that much different from me. It's just... I'm so happy to see so many people who think and feel the way I do, who just love info dumping as much as I do (≧▽≦) The first place in which I am not considered weird. And as much as I grew to enjoy being the weird one, it's so nice to finally be normal, you know? P.S. I TOTALLY want to see more of it, I'm just on love with your excitement

I've recently gotten a new special interest of military history
Associative thinking is an improv. exercise.

love it! I think the short time limit might be too restrictive. I don't think it would be bad to go on for as long as you have info.
Are you wearing The Dress,,,?
