I can explain what's causing the bans. (I am not associated with nor am speaking on any official capacity from or with Netmarble) SLA is using an automatic anti cheat system. The way this anti cheat system works is by looking at data values on the server and data values on the player. When these games are made, the server dictates certain pieces of data to prevent cheating. In this particular case , the data is being created by the user and sent to the server to calculate things like damage and time. The anti cheat activates when the two values are different or outside of whatever determined error margin they have set. Where this gets tricky is that these variances and issues can occur naturally due to network conditions. Ex playing on a weak wifi signal or one of a lot of signal noise . Or even switching your device into airplane mode at the right times. Their servers can also be responsible for this as well. Here in lies the flaws , If they ban cheaters using this method it's easy to trip false flags. If they weaken the restrictions then we have cheaters. The solutions are manual score reviews or a data set that can be relied upon for predicting proper behaviors. My suggestion to Netmarble would be to validate top scores. So instead of banning , just review the score and count it or not.

I noticed that yesterday while doing my guild boss runs. YOU CANNOT HIT "Retry" that is when the glich starts. For some reason it just bugs the rage count. You have to "Exit" and then come back in. It takes longer but thats how I got through it. Lucky I noticed it.. WATCH YOUR RAGE COUNT. If it looks abnormal, just "Exit" and try again sadly. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK. I MAY HAVE JUST GOT LUCKY.
@PayneBlade That's why I suggested in your stream before that bans should be done by a person, not AI, not bots. Again, this comes from my previous experience as a GM for other MMORPGs. People can follow guidelines. AI and bots will follow a certain algorithm that can be flawed. Netmarble earned so much from this game that they can outsource and get people from BPOs to handle the bans/technical side of things. They can also go to freelance agents (GTA 5 did this) and it works. They should do this as soon as possible and I would apply to the outsourcing company they choose to ensure fairness once I become an agent for them.
@@PayneBladeyes i know but i know it can be done which is why i said that netmarble can outsource it to any bpo of their choosing or can get freelancers to be their agents. 1000 agents could do it, should do it. I mean when SWTOR came out, Bioware outsourced to two bpo's with around 700 agents each so its doable.

They swept the previous BoT ban/issues under the rug and now a new one came out (albeit this time its GB), how long will they be silent lmao. One of my guildies got their trophies removed because of that BoT ban waves, and he lost his rank 1 on trophies. When they returned his trophies he's rank 2 because if you have the same amount of trophies, whoever reached it first will be rank 1. They didn't even address it, and didn't even compensate xd. More and more ridiculous with this company
I am so glad I stopped playing this game. This is insane how people still getting banned, bugs etc and they are not even mentioning anything at all. They are literally pushing people to stop playing.
I stopped spending money before Thomas. I cannot in good faith continue to spend when these kind of issues are so rampant. I have already invested around $500 since launch day and the thought of even losing that investment and time makes my stomach turn. I am happy to invest money into games but not when stuff like this is happening, just insane.
I even got banned while playing Instance Dungeon. The time and the units suddenly move way fast, I can't even control SJW. And then boom, banned for 30days. I'm using mobile phone.

So I noticed that the rage count didn't reset after i restarted my run when too many hunters died, but after I locked in both my times it was the normal count. It might just be a visual bug. But the system flags it for some people
It probably is actually the rage count thing. Fortunately on my end, I noticed it early that my rage count was not resetting while I'm restarting the run. But when I go and exit and enter GB again, it resets.
4:40 like they did with the previous ban waves.... i know you try to maintain a positive attitude towards netmarble, but this was a straight up lie and you know it. Sometimes negativity is good for progress (and a game that keeps its players in fear of being banned for playing deserves it 100%)
This is such a joke at this point. i got my ban in my inbox for guild boss. i already registered my score with a legit rage count because they STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THE FALSE RAGE COUNT BUG!!!! I had to hit exit every single time then enter again. I was just doing test runs to beat my PR score then BOOM BANNED!
NM's new year's resolution should be to make this game playable. SLA has been doing good for them, did great for the 1st few months but the game's performance issues like this is really holding the game back
if you aren't happy with your run and start over, start ALL THE WAY over. If you restart, it keeps the rage you earned on whatever you did the first attempt

3 days ago i have done my guild boss and on second run i saw the rage points of this run was doubled i make 2.5k = 8 rage points and was saying i gonna get 16 points, last 10 seconds it was saying 8. When i realize this issue i just exit without register the score, go to lobby and make it again. Probably i should been banned if i dont notice.
