Nice campsite. Looks like you got the outer edge. Those are the best. Beautiful views down the canyon from the viewpoint. Man made waterfalls! I've seen a few of those dam falls! LOL. The waterfalls in the gorge were beautiful. Awesome views down in there. Super steep too. Lots of steps. Plus the cross eyed banjo player boy looking over your back! LOL. The trail down was awesome and well worth the effort! That bridge was freaking awesome!! Loved it and the views from above. Well done! You two hardly broke a sweat! LOL. Time to relax back in camp now. Awesome stuff. Have a great day.
I remember this place. We love the mountainous areas of GA when we lived in Atlanta. It is such a beautiful place. Thanks so much for taking us back. LIKE 19👍👍👍
That is a really nice looking campground!!! Such a Beautiful area. That is awesome that Deliverance was filmed there. The bridge moving would be kind of scary. Have a wonderful day my friends!!!😊
Good score on your site! I love the name Tallulah! It's just fun to say, lol! That little bridge was so pretty! Great views! I love suspension bridges! Always fun to make them bounce and freak others out, lol! Incredible views from that bridge though! Good exercise with all those steps!
Very campground and a fun fact that Deliverance was filmed there. I love how you both keep it real about all those steps. That's alot of steps and the the moving bridge. Looked like awesome views though!
That’s a really nice spot to camp. Woah that’s a great trail too. You found a great place and so beautiful . A steep climb back to camp 😮 The facilities look good too. We didn’t see a bear when we camped at Yosemite back in 1996. We had metal boxes to store food to keep the bears away. This campground would really suit us. I would worry about my knee too but you must do the steps. Wow that bridge is beautiful with the sound of the waterfall. Yikes it’s a deep gorge. You did well on the moving bridge 😂 Take your time on the way back. Thanks for sharing this adventure 😃👍🏻💙 Trev
Look at you! Going across that suspension bridge! 🎉 Beautiful views from there for sure. I just looked to see if i could book this wknd because it looks like a gorgeous park! There is construction going on in the gorge, so i will wait. Thanks for sharing ❤
This was so awesome, thanks for climbing all those stairs for the rest of us. We love that area so much. We have never gone into the state park. We always stopped at Tallulah point and walked around over there looking down. Tallulah point used to be a gift shop, but now it looks abandoned. I hope to make it back to that area some day. I would honestly love to live in that area. So, not going to watch Deliverance, seems like a movie trying to scare me away from the mountains, LOL. Looks like we could probably fit our big RV into this state park, might do that.
Yes there are sites for bigger rigs. Um you not heard of deliverance? I have never watched it, but I know about it. Look it up. It may not keep you from mountains, but might keep you away from backroads hillbillies 😂
What a great campground. Love all the waterfalls. Take care of those knees my friend...ask me how I know. Hey, no talking about heart attacks. Don't like the moving bridge 😂.
That was a great campsite, very secluded, gorgeous. We love Tallulah, we have never done all the steps down, we normally just walk the rim, but we want to go down into it :)
I have hiked the rim trail when I visited the area for a wedding but this Spring I'll be dragging the camper down there to site 38. I'm looking forward to my trip. Thanks for the reminder.
The campsite is beyond beautiful. Oh them stairs !! I have been there and done that in Upper Michigan. I looked liked yous did. I thought I was going to die also. I could so feel your pain and then you with a sore knee, yikes that had to be terrible. The view was amazing to see :) Somethings are just worth the forever ending stairways. If I ever get there I know I will not be doing them stairs, so thank you much for doing that for us😊
That view from the overlook was amazing! That was one to many steps for me... lol! I went to Grandfather Mountain and there was a suspension bridge, and I just couldn't do it. It was a bit windy that day and I was like, no... lol.
Yay stairs lol. Yay, more steps lol. Meh, it’s only over 300 steps 😁. But not good if your knee hurts. But, it was worth the effort to see those falls 😁

Those steps were pretty rough. I didn’t video how many times I stopped to breathe 😂

Great looking campground! I can't believe Deliverance was filmed there! Very cool! Thank you for sharing my friends!
The Hank’s so much for watching 😊

It was cool to find out the movie was filmed there. I had no idea.
This has been on our radar - Thanks for sharing! ~Karen & Shannon WOY
It’s a great state park
You sure have a lot of wonderful nature. This place looks so beautiful. Also a great place to camp. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊 Greting from Denmark ❤
We do have some very pretty places. But I bet Denmark does too!
Beautiful!
It really is a nice state park

I don’t care for them moving. But I tend to force myself to go on them anyway.

Yeah those steps were rough. Thankfully we both lived lol

I was just glad we both lived 😂 it was worth it. Very pretty. And if I hadn’t done it, I would always have wondered what I might have missed.
WOW Deliverance, how cool is that!
Right?! 😂

Oh that’s a bummer. It really is a pretty park. Right up your alley for sure.

We survived. It was definitely a work out. If I remember correctly I went back to the camper and had a big Reese’s cup 😂
That was a great campsite, very secluded, gorgeous. We love Tallulah, we have never done all the steps down, we normally just walk the rim, but we want to go down into it :)
I totally recommend the stairs. If nothing else, will test your breathing capabilities 😂
Oh I remember this place.. The stairs were no joke

Awesome. It’s a really pretty state park.
Beautiful place
It is pretty

I wouldn’t do them again. That’s for sure 😂 It was rough. Was good for wearing off the candy I ate, though lol
That view from the overlook was amazing! That was one to many steps for me... lol! I went to Grandfather Mountain and there was a suspension bridge, and I just couldn't do it. It was a bit windy that day and I was like, no... lol.
Oh yeah. I was on one in TN and some kids were forcing it to move. I may or may not have had words 😂
Strenuous trail😂😅. Dueling banjo s, awesome.
😂🤣
That's a lot of steps, but I'd love to explore that Gorge!
I believe you can get a permit and hike down in too. But don’t hold me to that. I could be remembering wrong lol
Got to love stairs, lol
I have a love hate relationship with them.
That was no Dam waterfall, but that was. Those steps would have stayed unused by me LOL. Wait is that Banjos I hear?
😂🤣 I debated for a bit if I wanted to do those steps or not. I’m glad I went ahead and did it.
Yay stairs lol. Yay, more steps lol. Meh, it’s only over 300 steps 😁. But not good if your knee hurts. But, it was worth the effort to see those falls 😁
It was pretty. And like I said. I would always have wondered if I missed something if I hadn’t done it.
That's a beautiful area! Wow, how long have you guys stayed there? Did you end using e bikes ?
We didn’t ebike this area. But we do later in the trip. Only stayed a couple nights.
@@HappyPlaceCamping nice!
After watching Deliverance there's no way I'd want to camp there 🤣
😂🤣 too funny
Make sure you tell Jessie he has pretty lips.
Oh my gosh aaaaaaaaaahahahaha
Thank you 😊
