Apart from the joke, I ended up always flipping once. I put it on the pan, let it grill and take a look once in a while to ser if it's brown like I prefer, and then I flip it. I always have juicy steaks this way. But please don't use a fork to check it, always use grill tongs, or you'll leak the juices!
Everyone is cooking their steaks “filet mignon” style and I LOVE IT!!! Especially for a really thick steak that we have to cook over the stove (always a cardinal sin in My Home) so I’m loving to see this!!
I cooked a very juicy WELL-DONE steak the other day on my stove-top. Lots of butter on low with the lid on for about 10-12 minutes to steam cook it. Off with the lid then on high for a minute or so to brown/burn it up. Excellent.
why don’t you like medium rare steaks? i personally don’t like well done because it’s too chewy and most of the juice gets drained, and medium rare steak look more visually appealing
This is literally the type of video I was looking for, straight to the point. No blaring music in the back ground, clear instructions and before and after. I’m trying to get better about using the cast iron skillet instead of non stick or the propane grill. This was helpful, best steak I’ve made at home so far
My steak were overcooked. And well-done. After I watch your video, I finally figured to lower the stove and flip every 1 minute. I’m no longer going to restaurant . I’m going to cook at home
@@Brooks4 The reason why you're supposed to wait until the butter starts foaming is to continue to sear the steak with browned butter. If you're just spooning butter like that over the steak its just like pouring warm liquid over the steak, ruining the crust.
When I couldn’t understand the name of oil she used I knew right away this recipe was dumb. Use normal ingredients if your gonna call the recipe “easy”
Money, but you dont need to poke a hole in a steak thats not cooled down. YOU WRECK IT THAT WAY. It can be done by touch. Right hand: thumb to pinky finger , touch fhat spot below you thumb, thats well done. Thumb to ring finger= medium well. Middle finger medium. Index= rare.
If you don't have a meat thermometer, you can try it the Gordon Ramsey way. Look it up. You basically compare the firmness of the steak with different parts of your hand to measure doneness.
No blood. Blood contains hemoglobin. What you see is myoglobin. I know you know this. It's a common argument against you morons. Stop being a child, and just admit you're wrong. Pass it on.
No. It's cooked to her desired taste. Which here, is Rare. You may prefer a more thoroughly cooked steak, but that just means you don't actually like steak. Rare to Medium Rare is the only way to eat a steak. So you can keep on scrolling.
Some say to only flip once, some say to flip every minute. I'm trying both, this way I have a reason to eat two steaks.
My guy used 100% of his brain.
Which was better?

So after you let the Pan heat up u lower the stove to what Medium ?
@@mylord5264lower the stove 2 feet.
@@scottwebster8756 finally Got it down, My steak comes out Good and the butter does not turn black anymore ! 👍
Anybody else thought the steak looked like a gun at the end 😂 sry I'm literally 🥴
Render the fat first so you can use the fat for cooking the steak too add flavour
Lady, I like your style, I’m subscribing…
Notice many do it over the stove. I never tried it. Thanks for showing.
That's not heavy salt that DISGUSTING.
Please don't serve that to anybody but your self
I kno whts coming and yet have to watch every steak tutorial i see😮
Add cooking. 1 min turns. Go to school
What’s a good red wine to pair with this type of steak?
Everyone is copying off of Gordon ransey
Blue steak
😅why against thought you should slice with the grain
I like mine well done.
Just a tip wait until the butter starts foaming before basting
Right lol 🤦🏻♂️ embarrassing to make a video like this when you’re doing it wrong

I’m kinda limited at the moment to a camper stove and I’m so tired if ordering out.
Thank you. Finally a video that just uses stove top. Every video I see they’re always doing all this extra 💩
Won't it be cold after resting for 10 minutes? 😅
Absolutely
I saw eyes heowm in the steak if you have imo or Whatsupp I will send you the picture it's scary for real
I’m very hungry, need to try that soon!
Wtf... how come none of these videos Gove time, what of you dont have a thermometer
What oil?
Looks good for stovetop. To me steak on a grill is king
100% agree. Sadly I live in an apartment though and can't use a BBQ because we aren't allowed to have one unless it's electric.
Show them the part everyone knows how to do then tell them to serve with a sauce few people know how to make 😉
You smooth with it !!!!
Im attempting to make this with no internal thermometer lmao pray for me
Cut off the silver skin off your steak
its atleast better then that weird grill thing you advertised but still ehh and you used almost enough salt this time so it cool to see your learning
Stake is red thin though
And its also spelled steak
The only problem is I don't have a way to check the temperature

It's still too red inside
No, it's not. Ny strips gets dry fast, and it's not raw
Mmmmmmm
How can you tell which way the grain is going?
Always make sure its half cooked inside to save the wonderful taist of Tapeworm eggs and hydatids cysts.
That’s what makes it next level delicious!

Trace sprinkling a little coffee on each side of your steak. 🤤
Great job
Too raw
That's you're opinion...
Yes it is
I would have cooked it for another 15 mins
What do you guys mean by against the grain. How do I check which way the grain is going ?
its easy for the strip jsut follow her and the grain like u can see the lines on the meat. Google it cause I cant explain it well.

What internal temp for medium and medium rare?
medium rare - 130
medium- 140
undercooked
if you think that’s undercooked I weep at the thought of your steak cooking skills

@@billpacker5345 Medium is the best imo
@LukeTheSchoolBoy ok Medium is like, maximum level of cook lol. Depends how thick the steak is. A baseball steak I order Medium.
Bro im litterally drooling
How long did it take to figure that out 🤷♀️
Rest it 10 miinutes.....so it can be room temperature when you eat it 🤢
Terrible
That's not that's silverskin.
Great advice. Nailed it
