Sad Hill Cemetery, Spain (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly)

250 Spanish soldiers recreated a mythical New Mexican 1862 Confederate cemetery in a remote valley in Burgos Province, Spain, in 1966 for the movie. It was left to nature until 2015, when a group of enthusiasts formed the Sad Hill Cemetery Association and spent many weekends restoring it in time for the 50th anniversary of filming there.
