Oversight on my part - I can open it slightly while it's stored, but have to lower it to be able to open it all the way. Plan on scooting it back to be able to open the garage 😀
I had to move all the ceiling mounts further back because when I hoisted it up, the kayak would hit the garage door. Just need to make sure that front has enough clearance to rise without hitting anything.

Noticed the same. Garage door cannot be opened as it will collide with the kayak.
