Easily the greatest duel on this channel. That crush card play with the clone token was INSANE and super convenient for delta lol

This Dual was WELL worth the wait easily the best, thank you guys you've both still got it and some.
This was a phenomenal duel! It really did feel like something out of the anime. From the moment Kuribandit put the Electromagnetic Turtle in the grave, I could tell this was gonna be something special.
That was a pretty good kickoff for this insane duel haha
One of the best duels you guys have done! Can't wait to see the rest of the wave. I'm assuming they aren't part of this first selection, but I think some Ultimate Rex and Weevil decks with Oricahlcos in them could be a good bit of fun, especially with the loss of the hybrid rex deck and the significant nerfing of weevil's bc deck. Great stuff all around! Wouldn't mind seeing more duels between these "ultimate" decks even if there are duplicate matches.
We've definitely talked about some other characters to do ultimate decks for. We're gonna have to circle back after this wave to do more duels with these decks too.

Awesome duel guys. Definitely the best Yugi Vs Kaiba duel i've seen on your channel. They're usually so short but this one was beefy. And a nice payoff for those shorter duels. Liked seeing Attack Guidance Armor as well btw. Finally Konami haha.

I know whats in the Yugi deck and as much I love it and you guys did great, don't hate me but I had to cut the knights, chimera pieces, Gaia and the magnet warriors for more stronger cards and drop it down to just a slim 40 cards while still keeping it iconic. This duel was definitely awesome!!!

Great duel, though it looked like the count was off by 1 for card of demise.
this was so sick, when you make anime decks optimally you see how broken the anime characters could have been

This game was crazy, im soooo jealous you have the attack guidance armor because thats one piece i just dont have yet. Im hoping i can find it on the secondary market for a decent price, as well as magical trick mirror and life shaver.
It's rough that they're so expensive, hopefully they get reprinted soon so they're more accessible!
I took the deck another way but still keeping 70% of the core you guys built and still a little iconic. But still slim 40.

You guys inspired me and my brother to make our own character decks to which we made our "Ultimate" Decks to which we had many amazing back and forth duels that came down to the wire. Coincidentally enough especially with Yugi and Kaiba.

I play giant germ x2 and slate warrior insted of saggi, horseman and battle ox, you can also add vampire lord or kaiser glider for beatdown, and face card knights sucks they brick alot lol you can add magicians like valkyrie, faith or oldvince and archfiend of gilfer or the dragon from virtual world saga desvolksgarp or something like that 😂 insted of jack's

These are ultimate in so far that they try to use as many iconic cards as possible, right?
Because you're mashing together multiple different strategies just like the filler Arcs of DM did. This in turn makes the decks bricky without a clear gameplan.
The benefit is that basically every card you play is nostalgia, but it can be detrimental in getting the best out of the decks. For example you'd never play the cards like Gazelle and Berfomet, because they are some of the worst cards Yugi ever used and have no synergy with anything.
The magnets and Poker Knights don't go well together, in the Manga Yugi only ever used the knights to quickly summon the gods, which don't seem to be included.
Seto uses Duelist Kingdom cards like Mystic Horseman, that he didn't play after said arc for a reason.
Please don't take this as disrespectful or being mean, I'm just trying to figure out what the goal of these decks are. Not saying they are bad either, they very much served their purpose in creating a fun and interactive game.
Do you prefer a build more like this dude? Less high-level monsters and more slimmed down but still iconic?

They're ultimate both for using iconic cards and for being a combination, or cherry-picking, of many of the better cards the character used. Comparing these to say a Yugi Battle City deck with only include cards he used in that arc means we might have a lot of situational, bricky cards like Magic Formula, Valkyrion, Chain Destruction, Light of Intervention, etc.
For anyone creating these kinds of decks, there's a lot of decisions to make when it comes to iconic cards vs strong cards and it's almost like a scale. Gazelle and Berfomet could be dropped for Old Vindictive Magician and Fissure, but that's sliding the scale away from iconic but would make the deck better. There's nothing wrong with that approach though, that could produce a great Yugi deck too.

@@demetriusshuler1391 I'd say that's more a Yugi deck than a Dark Yugi deck, but kinda.
Though some cards are a bit odd such as Silent Swordsman (when Magician is much better, also why no LV7), Giant Soldier of Stone, Mystic Box (Magical Dimension is leagues better), Dark Magic Curtain (Magician's Circle is way better unless you are using the anime effect for Curtain), Lightforce Sword, Stronghold without the Gadgets.
@@BlazeQuadZ I can happily answer that. Silent Swordsman is in there because it's doesn't stop gaining attack points unless it destroyed and it can negate a spell every spell. Silent Swordsman level 7 is too high leveled. Additionally, the deck is combination of both. My focus was not make atem or little Yugi separately. It's there greatest hits for a reason. Magician's circle cannot bring out dark magician that's why magic curtain is in there. Lightforce is in there because it's kind of iconic, Yugi used it to stop both exodia and Obelisk the tormentor temporarily. Stronghold is in there because it can still provide you a defense wall without the gadgets if you need it or it can be used as tribute fodder.
