This took me back to my childhood in the 70's at Mount Olive 1st Baptist Church of Baton Rouge Louisiana. The late Reverend Calvin Collins was the pastor. Lord we had church on Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. and communion service every 1st Sunday at 6:00 p.m. no air conditioning. Only the fans in Windows and we was having Church. Shouting was in the house, singing and preaching was there also. I really enjoyed those 2 ladies leading the song.
My grandma and former 1st Lady sung this song at my home church in Mississippi. The First Lady sounds almost like my grandma and the 2nd lady sounds almost like my former 1st Lady. Rip Sis. Miller. Love this song.
I'm Mexican from California and I not only hearing God I feel him. I get chills tears for no reason but I feel GREAT! must be GOD. AMEN would love to hear her at a church.
What a blessing to find this!! Absolutely love it!!! I read the story behind it. Praying for the souls the devil tempted that day with his vile ways, and praising God for the music by this church united in redemption!

This is what I wished more were raised on today, not enough of us really know what it really mean to be truly redeemed.
