It's an illusion from her hands being under water. She periodically touched certain spots behind her head to get her to tilt her head back more, but it wasn't for support. She wasn't holding her up. Also, she was moving, but with the camera zoomed in it isn't easy to tell. The instructor puts her arms out underwater and slowly moves back, which is probably why it appears she's not moving. After she completed the course we were at a hotel pool. She wasn't quite 2yrs old. I was sitting on the edge where she was playing. She lost her balance & fell in the deep end. I didn't have to hop in to fish her out. She swam to the edge & pulled herself out. It isn't a 1 & done thing. They definitely need refreshing or they lose the skill at that age.
@@ckotcher1 for sure! Every time her face would go underwater I'd catch myself holding my breath! I have a little boy now as well. He's had lessons, but needs more. It's the same. Every time his little face is underwater I'm holding my breath too. His lessons are very similar, but they aren't through an ISR instructor. We moved to South Florida & the prices they charge through the program are crazy expensive here. Either way, he's getting 1 on 1 lessons from an experienced instructor & we have a baby fence around the pool. Gota do my best to keep these kiddos safe!

I like when the men r doing it,, the do it as if they really fall in the pool. Why weman sit them on the edge an not sit down in water ?
