Just bought two of these mechs for me and my 7 year old son to play with. For what I just paid I hope they are durable. They remind me of the old mech toys from like 20-25 years ago, these new ones look insanely nicer. If the two that come in are play worthy I am going to sink at least 1k into them over this year.
Depends -- what do you guys like? I'd say try some smaller ones. Or, maybe even some basic kits like the Entry Grade kits from Gundam and Bandai. But, if you want these big old mechs -- they can be between 80-200 dollars each. You can get cheaper ones, or try Hexagear -- you assemble them. So, it all depends on what you like.
Hello I have a question... Btw this model and steel bone armour (grey), which is more detailed and has more value to buy?? I wanna buy one of these (steel bone\iron wrecker 02) but i really can't make a decision ! Can you please help me decide ? (For a small explanation, it's my first time that i want to buy an action figure and i know if i dive in it, I'm gonna get addicted to it, so, i wanna just buy one of these 2, and stay out of it😅)
@@alirezasouri9247 go with this iron wrecker 2, it's awesome. @@littleBIGrobots actually i saw many of your videos and others in YT... But in 1/25 scale and at this price range (70$-85$), i found these 2 models with highest details. I even checked the god of war series, but i didn't like them that much (for example one of the main drawbacks in my opinion was the lack of movement of the finger joints in the mecha's) So yeah....I was just doubting between the (Iron wrecker 02) and the (Steel bone armour). In my opinion, (steel bone armour) looks very much like a toy and generic, but (Iron wrecker 02) was much more realistic and attractive. Also, after your suggestion, I confidently ordered (Iron wrecker 02), but all my friends agreed with Steel bone armour, so I'm still a little hesitant.😅
He could, but it depends on his play, you know? Like banging them together and stuff? Nah -- for $80 you might get more of a toy that can take some abuse, like a Halo mech or maybe something like a toy Gundam. This toy (not a kit) one is meant more for posing, "messing with" like taking pics of. Not sure how old he is, but they also have some really small parts. So, if he wants it just for kinda posing and moving around there and there, yep! But if he wants something to really play war with, I'd skip it. Does he like ships? SnapShips are cheaper and are modular and can take some abuse, sort of like Lego. I LOVE SnapShips. Really sorry for asking these questions so late, but 1. Is the kit going to break easily from me posing and handling it and 2. would you say it is worth getting?
I'd say it's worth it for the look and paint job, and it should stand up to some handling. The waist is the only real weak spot, along with the hands. You can always tighten the joints as well
Have you gotten any yet? If so what do you think? I had never heard of these until it popped up for me on Amazon, and the one I took a chance on and bought absolutely blew me away
Have you experience loose joints on your tactical iron wrecker? I have seen other videos of the tactical version have very loose joints and it's difficult to pose as it keeps the pieces falling. I'm planning to buying this version. I'm having doubts if it's worth buying this version after hearing the issues
In the hands now, yeah. I want to say that they are starting to encourage swapping arms, etc, between the new bots? Not sure. But yeah they got loose after the review.
@@littleBIGrobots Do you recommend it? I'm the type of person who keeps posing figures. I do photography on some figures. I'm just wondering if it's worth buying in the long run?
If you're worried about the joints messing with posing, I'd get one of the earlier ones, they are much stiffer. This one is awesome looking though so I had to get it lol

Just a spectacular figure.
