i have tix to this tour and i still am excited to go, but holy shit steven tyler! first night of tour and he has a wired microphone to micromanage back of house , he micromanaged the keyboard guy unprofessionally for what seemed like a whole minute, keeps motioning to side of stage, 20 lyric monitors on stage and still having trouble, and thats all in one youtube video. he clearly isnt happy with himself or anyone around him, that camp is probably walking on pins and needles. i still think the performance is great , but there is a lot going on there and you can see it in tom hamiltons face. im still a big fan and will have a great time at the show (i hope!)
Who could've guessed old junkies were dicks. I can't justify Steven's lack of professionalism but at least they're going out playing real and live rock shows.
Tyler has been doing this for years, probably decades. We had close seats for multiple shows during Deuces are Wild. Steven spends as much time on his backstage mic as he does singing. In Vegas I was filming some with and actual camera (front row). Steven charged toward me looking angry . . . I though it was me . . . but instead he destroyed one of the crowd microphones right in front of me. I guess it wasn't working correctly. Plus, Steven has been forgetting his own lyrics since 1971.
@@Drew_Snydermann I was fith row 20 years ago and there was a lot more hippie dancing and less time complaining. If you watch the encore of this show, Steven spends significant time humiliating the guy operating a fan as confetti flies. Makes things awkward for the crowd when you should be bidding farewell. One of the reviews mentioned how unsentimental it was, Steven never connected with the crowd because he was too busy micromanaging
thats what singing live is albout at least its not that robot dj music with tv screens on that has no soul in it ua-cam.com/video/8Oj6iPEDT1M/v-deo.html
Steven is clearly showing the strain, so it's for the best that he end it now and go out on top. That will preserve the legend of Aerosmith for the future. I saw this coming when he was on American Idol.
Yes, despite the glowing reviews, Steven is struggling. His voice isn't even what it was in 2019. I love they guy, but i can see why they might be retiring.
Excellent quality !! Was a great show
For a bunch of guys in their 70's, I see and hear lots of energy. Joe's playing like he's 30.
