I might replay NFS Rivals again after installing it on an SSD. *UPDATE (November 29, 2021):* I finished NFS Rivals once again (both career), this time on an SSD. The game is more playable, but it's not completely bug free, smaller non game breaking bugs are still a thing. The good news is, I didn't encounter anything like 0:34 - 0:52 this time.

That's why a faster storage device made Rivals playable on SHDWSKII's PC (SSD fixed 0:34 - 0:52, same can be said for other capable PCs as well) Thankfully SSDs are much cheaper in 2021 than they were in 2013.
It's been a while since I played Rivals but I know I had it installed on HDD and I don't remember any weird issues. Maybe I just forgot about them because Rivals is a good game in my opinion. Not the best NFS ever but it's definitely fun and enjoyable
If the game was developed with Unreal Engine, had the proper ability to pause offline, and wasn't rushed for the PS4 and Xbox One, it could have been something truly special. I'm not saying it's not good. On the contrary, I had plenty of fun playing through.

The police counterpart: Aventador and Veyron with ESF, Shock Ram, Spike Strips, or Helicopter. Patrol Aventador is almost like driving with Turbo permanently turned on. It's acceleration is phenomenal. Enforcer Aventador is practically a tank in similar way fully upgraded F12 is also a tank.
2 of the most dangerous things to do in the PvP of this game. 1. Take a ram from either a Berlinetta or a Bugatti going full speed with ESF. 2. Aggro a full cop lobby as a racer with anything under tier 4.
I would add a player-controlled Patrol Aventador too. There is no escaping from that (almost) tank with such a phenomenal acceleration, other than exceeding 350 km/h (Aventador's top speed), and pray there are no spikes or other obstacles ahead of you.
@@dbclass4075 I can agree but for me, the thing to fear acceleration was the Hennessy. Lol. Damn thing can't turn for shit, tho. Aventador is a nice all-rounder for T4 cops. It's got a bit of everything. Good armor, dmg, cornering, accel, and speed. Only thing almost better all-round is the One:1 but that things armor is flimsy even when fully upgraded. Ultimately, it's how a player makes use of their cars strengths and weaknesses.

Honestly tho ai police are kinda unfair They can spawn out of nowhere I was about to escape a pursuit I was in for like 20 minutes, cop spawned ahead, took me out.
Best way to beat that glitch is to slow down until a chopper spawns. Once you get ahead of the cops, the chopper will still be with you. It'll be on you until it flies way ahead of your path to set some spikes down. Avoid the spikes and when you do, lose the cops to the best of your ability before that glitch resets. Something about losing the cops after the chopper sits the spikes down is a guaranteed evasion. Idk why.
@@aero9094 Usually, that occurs when police units run over spikes. Pilots can be stupid sometimes: dropping spike strips in front of police units. Play as police, and use Level 4 helicopter. You will have a love-hate relationship with that pursuit tech.
this game has the most ridiculous bug. for example: When I was in the middle of event racing, suddenly the event abandoned by itself just because I set to 60 fps mode.

And no matter what I do, even if I just go past them, they just chase after me. And everytime I'm like "bro, f*ck off, let me enjoy the game and stop being a dick." I mean, are online racers always so aggressive against cops in this game ? Or am I just surrounded by bullies in this game ?

My experience playing the game was awesome, i like the graphics and the little gliches it has in it to for those that are online in multiplayer.

You can combine multiple power ups to deal more damage.
For example: you can hit a car with ESF and activate shockwave.
You can also shockwave cops and activate turbo to make a quick getaway.
