    You've really helped me tonight. I stumbled across your channel looking for help with severe neck pain at the base of my head and pain in my temples and scalp. I've had it for years now and I can no longer concentrate. The Doctor is hopeless. My neck has been out of whack for so long , I had lost all hope until watching this video and following your exercises. I feel a hundred times better. The brain fog and dizziness is easing. Fatigue is replaced with alertness and I feel alive again. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and can't get help anywhere. I'm in Edinburgh, Scotland. You're a hero. Thank you so much for helping me. I'm going to watch all of videos and try all of you exercises. I did the tongue exercises omg. I had no idea. I feel aligned again and it's helped with my hip/si joint pain. I couldn't walk properly this past week. Now I can. God bless you. 🙏❤️

    Ok, ran across the tongue exercise about 40 min ago, Subscribed and just finished watching this one. @stopchasingpain so glad the tongue video went viral putting it in my UA-cam feed of things to watch. My whole life has been he!!ish pain. My jaw was crushed by forceps causing stunted growth of my bones...headaches my entire life until the age of 30 when I had my jaw cut out of my mouth for reconstructive surgery to even-up the two sides. Then came the 2 herniated disks in my neck and the amount of pain the in the muscles you named along with the holes (nerves) just above the collar bone by just touching them. I now have humped shoulders, lower back pain, poor circulation and inflammation just about everywhere in my body. Knowing that sitting around in pain was only giving me more pain, I started yoga about a month ago. However, because the two videos of exercises I've watched so far, I will be incorporating them into my daily routine. I will be watching all the rest of your videos too. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

    You are a literal godsend, sir!
    I woke up last night, something I rarely do, checked to see the time (3:30am) and saw this video notification. Said to myself, "huh, timely"(read story below), didn't swipe it away, and went back to sleep.
    Woke again by 5:30 am with pain and extreme stiffness (base of skull, down neck and shoulders). Managed spotty sleep only by resting the base of my skull on alternating fists. Arms took turns falling asleep but hey, I wasn't crying so that's something.
    I finally cannot stand it any longer and sat up to grab a pain tablet when I check the time and this video notification is still there.
    Played your video and tried these exercises, and got some instant relief! 🤯!!
    Mind blown! Thanks, Doc!

    You are so incredible! I think I told you before that I have a degenerative eye disease which causes eye flashes, vision, loss, and general muscle weakness around my eyes. I have been doing the tongue exercises and the eye flashes have diminished, and I feel like my eyes are even clearer. It would be so helpful for me if you could use more descriptive terms when talking about the exercises. I know this is difficult for light dependent people, but it would greatly help people who are vision impaired to understand the exercises. I don’t want to miss anything at all. I have a good knowledge of anatomy so usually I can pick up what you were talking about but I know a lot of people that would not be able to understand what you were talking about. I would like to share this with others who are blind, because People with vision impairments, have a tendency to have a head forward posture. You are the best! 32:49

    Unbelievable! So amazing! I have kyphosis and in constant pain. My forward head thrust is bad. I found it a little tighter on the right than the left side- but my axis is out of whack on that side- pushing on my Eustachian tube and congesting my ear. I feel a bit tingly after doing these. That’s increased blood flow. And lymphatic drainage. The vagal nerve area in my right side is tender. Muscles are tender, and the salivary gland on that side clogs periodically. It gets uncomfortable and opens if I massage it. Interestingly, I sleep on my left side! So why? I did the big six after this, and I’m set for my day!

After that my body began to do all those movement which you are doing in this video. More naturally. Looked like a demonic possession at the beginning. It felt like I am attacked and forced to do these ugly and angry facial expressions. Later I realised that body got some intelligence to do these stretching to release trauma stored in these regions. Even specialists don't under it, i have a jaw issue which puts my C1 out, i developed a web of platysma bands/knots that pull my head to the left in an attempt to stabilize my head. I have used botox to reduce them, my pain & dysfunction. The muscle lays superficially but it's function is not superficial.

    Excellent presentation and i admire your simplification fo complex concepts to make this engaging and practical. I teach QI Gong and some people, especially since there are so many non scientists who want evidence, you offer both which inspire the text necks from paralysis of analysis. No excuses, nothing works until you do it. Gracias

    I watched this video yesterday and did the 3 to 5 reps and I was thinking to myself This probably not gonna make me sore, but I woke up this morning and put my moisturizer on and my neck muscles are tender to touch so this definitely works and I’m gonna continue to use it because I know those muscles in your neck also pull on your lower face and make your jowls worse, so not only are you helping people decrease their pain but you’re also helping people with aging and they don’t even know it. Thank you sir.

    Great, that makes a whole lot of difference in the front of my neck. Yesterday, doing some so called face yoga exercises, I was thinking about how to get my jowls under control. I felt with my fingers along my jawline to feel where the muscles are and noticed that it's just where these jowls form there are hardly any muscles! But there are muscles in the chin!! and with trying them I noticed that the only way to get them working is to growl like an animal🐯. Ha that's exactly what we decent people are not doing. And now your video pops up, and I see you growling... I'm going to do that, see if it improves my jaw line too. And close the mouth, put the tong up, exercise the tong, pull the tong, and not stick the head forwards ...lots of new exersices and things to think about! 😅❤

    Also, since you have so many subscribers would you please limit adds to the beginning and end... there are way too many & it interrupts the learning process Thank you! ❤

    I’m going to start these today. The past month I’ve had an issue with tightness in my neck and upper back muscles but then it was causing some discomfort and pain to my left shoulder my left elbow and now my index finger on my left hand is almost numb, tingly like it’s going to fall asleep, and sometimes my arm is like that too. I go to a very good chiropractor, but he has been unable to help me fix this yet, it’s really bothering me to have the numbness and tingly feeling. I was following along and took my chin down to my right shoulder, made the face and brought it up diagonally to the left and when I got up to the top, it didn’t cause pain, but it triggered that tingly falling asleep feeling in my left arm. Obviously that’s something but I’m not sure, what’s happening. Thank you for these exercises.

    Another banger from the doc! It never occurred to me how neglectful it is to completely ignore an entire facet of the nervous systems. The idea of having any "untrained" muscles is silly! Edit: What are your thoughts on jaw exercises despite crepitus at the jawline? referring to the finger in the ear test, I heard another doc mention avoiding repetitive jaw motions that are typical of jaw strengthening techniques.

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  10 місяців тому +2

      Thank you very much. Jaw exercises are like exercises for any other part of the body. One exercise can help one person. The same exercise can make another one worse. They are all highly individual
