How true is that. I worked for 8 dollars an hour on my first team, maximum 10 hours a day. So basicly 80 bucks a day. But the travel, putting those uniforms on, watching the guys in the crowds WANT to be me, WANT my job, no way in heck I was giving it up. Best decision I ever made in life.

Hi I dont know if you got my email last time but I'm Matt Shriver. And about 14 years ago i was racing go karts down in Hutchinson ks and my mom wanted to take a picture of my sister and I. she did and we waited a week for the film to be developed and we were thrown back by what happened next... we start flipping through the photos and just looks like a happy family out on a race weekend. Then we flip to a photo thats discolored then the next is a little worse. Then the next one still gives me chills to this day the photo was of my sister and I but I was shorter back then and you can only see the top of my sister's head and in the back is the grand stands and ghosted into the photo is dale Sr. in his famous goodwrech fire suit.
I've been afraid of trying to contact anyone for years because I don't want to over step my boundaries and I would post a picture of it but I dont want it to be stolen. So if dale contacts I will send it directly to him. I hope to hear back

I've never been a NASCAR fan and followed the sport. But I enjoy the hell out of these podcasts and have been binge watching them. The one thing i'm disappointed with is not being able to watch the full podcasts. Also not knowing that much about the sport, I get lost with some of the terminology and lingo. Especially when drivers are relling race stories I usually have no idea what they're talking about. I know that's on me but it would be cool if when some NASCAR lingo is being thrown around, have a little graphic on the bottom giving a brief description of what some terms mean
