- In northern Centre county in central Pennsylvania, during late October there's a small crafts fair where the main attraction is pumpkins being launched out of cannons, catapults, trebuchets, you name it. They try to hit a target but it's very rare for anyone to do so. It's ironic that I'm posting a fall-themed video I filmed last month as it's snowing right now here (that video will go up later in the week once the storm stops). The fall foliage is a little past its peak but it still looks very much like fall. It was such a nice day to have something like it outside in the park. I haven't filmed a vlog of this style before yet of a purely for fun event but hopefully I did a good job. This is quite a unique festival we have in Pennsylvania and apparently there are other ones all around the US.

We also had beautiful weather until a few days ago, very unusual here in England in October and November! I wish I could have been there with all of you! Nature is still gorgeous there.......... enjoy! Amazing festival!
So glad you enjoyed this. It was a fun day for sure. We had beautiful weather on and off, now the ground is covered in snow and temperatures are around 0 during the day and -5 to -10 at night. Winter sure came quick (currently working on a snow vlog)

Wow this is so fun! i've never seen anything like it. That canon is very impressive. The trebuchet of course, born centuries ago was fun to watch. I hope no birds were smashed out of the air or water during this competition, lol.
It sure was lots of fun to watch. No birds were harmed, just a bunch of pumpkins, haha. But it was fun watching them try to hit the target. The cannon was my favorite too

It was quite a fun day. I made sure in the later parts to get far away from the PA speaker. It was fun hearing the pumpkins get blasted off then land in the water with a huge splash
