@@duboislegacyfarm 😂 They still do this but there’s more courageous technique now. Lately Trinity has taken up trying to sleep in a nesting box so I go out and push her out! She does this once in a while and usually in fall or winter.
@ there is the annoyance that they will poop in the nesting box, but I also found that when PK was injured and I allowed her to sleep on the ground, she wouldn’t poop very much. That’s not good either. So I don’t let them sleep in there unless they sneak in late at night. 🥸
@ same, unless I’m feeling extra sympathetic to bullying. Some of them can get away with it but only for a night, like Miss Asa and Miss Libby. But I don’t like it at all for the same reasons as you. Delilah has a tendency to sneak back in there when she’s broody, after I lock everything up. She goes broody about 3 times a year, for a month at a time. 😆 The struggle is real. 😒
