Glad everyone is loving this record! I played guitar on Garbage Day. This record is phenomenal and was a blast to be a part of. Long live Street Cleaner!
always listen to street cleaner ❤ while driving my street sweeper 😎
This album has such a great theme to it; the songs don't start off too evil, but once they drop you see their true form. I absolutely love that.
Thank you Kyle. I'm a practitioner of Kurt Vonnegut's story shapes. I'm pleased you liked it.
looks like i' ve stumbled on something magnificent
product of the 80's approves this product.
You Can't Run Forever -- This song brings up many different and contradicting emotions.
Tear of joy and sadness. Coming back to this song once in a while.
This has a certain Megadrive-ey sound, gritty and heavy. I love it!
The soundtrack Cyberpunk 2077 deserves.
Well I'll be damned! In the beginning of " You Can't Run Forever", there's mechanical sounds in the backround, that were somehow super-familiar.. And now i remembered what they are, they are Strogg idle sounds from Quake 2! Nice touch to use them, makes an old gaming nerd like me happy :)
Quake 2 gets way too little love. The intro is still one of my favorites, really setting the mood. You really feel like you could run into one of your marine buddies any time for a good while after that.
This was my introduction to Street Cleaner around this same time last year. I bought his discography on Bandcamp and not a day goes by that I don't listen to at least one or two of his tracks. There's just something so energizing about his music and darksynth in general. It's also excellent driving music!
I'm gonna be modding this into Cyberpunk 2077's music folder. Awesome!
Garbage day is heavy!
my goodness, i repeat this track (35:00 the crossing) like ten times already, it is so simple and sooo lit!
I love that he's wearing the Devtac Ronin Helmet
I'm a simple guy I see insanely awesome cover art and Synthwave and click like
I dont know if you noticed but this is not synthwave, its darksynth/cyberpunk. Synthwave has breezy, 80s miami feeling.
@@guilhermegarcia8750 synthwave has Kavinsky
darksynth has Pertubator
lofi synthwave has HOME
masterboot music has Dan terminus and cyberpunk has Max brhon 😁
Hail the great Lord Randy!!
That artwork...
*chef kiss
First composition might fool you into thinking that this is a common retrowave production. It's like a reference to a big city in a broad daylight. Dreamy and uplifting. But then the sun sets. And as soon as it goes below horizon, "The Fog" starts playing, relentlessly dropping nukes at your eardrums. The time has come for Slade to make his appearance. And he won't leave with only a warning...
This album cover is beyond amazing. I love to write, almost makes me want to write a story about it. That's GOOD art.
The best Street Cleaner album
Street Cleaner is badass
Been a while since someone has made a good darksynth album.
I was looking for Godflesh's album streetcleaner but stumbled on this and not disappointed. Love me some synthwave
It's what I expected from Street Cleaner - perfection.
Holy hell. "Better the Devil You Know" is sick as hell. Just awesome.
I can already see myself driving quadra in cyberpunk 2077 while jamming to this
That artwork is absolutely glorious.
Hey guys, if you love Doom 2016, I would recommend trying this album in combination with Arcade mode of the campaign. Great fun!
Sorry, I know this comment is old, but that's a rad idea and I'm going to try it. 🤟
'You can't run forever' is an insanely good track! 😁
I want cyberpunk 2077 to have this while your driving around
Paul Kersey , Marion Cobretti , Alex Murphy and John Matrix are all out of bubblegum.
"I am the Street Cleaner! I am the chosen one. The mighty hand of vengeance, sent down to strike the unroadworthy! I'm hotter than a rollin' dice. Step right up, chum, and watch the kid lay down a rubber road, right to FREEDOM!"
God save the 80's music!
I got your Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack right here.
Last song is AWESOME! I love!
Never thought I would love Garbage Day so much.
I was here from the day it was releasedddd, thank SynthGod that Synthwave is still being produced
I bet John carpenter is playing this in his car on his way to work.
I bet John Carpenter and "Coupe de Villes" are behind Street Cleaner
Seriously, this is enough to make me want to understand this story, It has to be a grindhouse sequel to "Escape From New York" : "Escape From New York: Double Dragon Unleashed"
yes, it's been said by practically everyone else in the comments, but good stuff. This is a banger.
39:56 Life in the year of our Lord (Anno Domini)
Tower Gates is the most ominous song iv ever heard, should be making video game soundtracks.
We should try to come up with some sort of perfect scenario in a game for this to take place. I'm conflicted between a scene where the protagonist marches down a dark hall, about to confront the main antagonist for whatever reason he has to do so. Maybe his life flashes before his eyes as he walks down this dark, empty, bloodied hallway filled with the corpses of his enemies, accompanied by nothing more than this badass song.
OR
Just a really good background song for exploring a dark, post apocalyptic environment in an open world RPG.
how it feels to put points in body - annihilation in cyberpunk
Better The Devil You Know......DAMN!
Listening to this and Playing Doom is a whole new lvl of crazy and i love it.
the artwork speaks for itself
If this would become a soundtrack to a movie , i would totally be ok with that.
As a die hard metal head (cannibal corpse, necrophagist, pantera, dying fetus, etc etc) and a huge synthwave fan. This album is really hitting some good notes with me, absolutely loving the blending of hard Rock and synthwave in this.
Same here (Sepultura, Testament, Slayer) but I'm so into this retro-electro!
Third here (demotion hammer, overkill, bolt thrower, nuclear assault, etc.), and I’m really starting to get into this stuff here. Some synth just hits home for a metalhead more than others, and this is a good example right here.
@@silentwolf6532 I highly recommend checking out Carpenter Brut, perturbator and dance with the devil.
Even Lazer hawk and HOME if ya want Things a bit more chilled out.
One of the artists who got me into Synthwave years ago! This man never ceases to amaze and I love that he sticks to his old sounds! 🤘
Can't stop listening to that album
First song sounds good Clean up dem streets
Best album from Street Cleaner. Bar none. Fucking BRUTAL.
Sounds damn good. Think I found my new car soundtrack.
From ashes is like... Your walking through the city at night having a nice stroll, then you make a quick stop to murder 37 criminals and then order a sub from your favourite place before murdering the owner of the place, who is also a criminal. Then going to bed.
@@NeonCowell hey!! Knock that off. I like where he was going with this. 🤣
Well that's at the beginning of course, when you are taking a nice stroll in the city at night. @@NeonCowell
@@NeonCowell Nice, I thought I was the only one to hear similarities between Dire Dire Docks and this one :D
This man just fell in love with the Roller Mobster bass riff, I hear it a lot haha!
If it wasn't for that post you made earlier I wouldn't have seen this gem!
One of the greatest! Keeping the streets clean! Thank you!
Street Banger
I'm blown the hell away by this!
I'm sold. Just bought their vinyl.
Street Cleaner is the mutha frackin BOMB!
I wasn't TOO impressed at first, but from "You Can't Run Forever" the album REALLY picks up!
Good shit. I'll buy the album
This is what we want!
that artwork is sick as hell! great music too. Listening while i draw.
The rising pads at 12:25 are literally THE PERFECT synth wave noise. The chords, the noise, the sub, everything. It's the ultimate 1986 movie theater intro feeling. PERFECT!
Holy fuck. That´s probably the slasherwave album of the year!!!
Cyber boba fett, Awesome album
This is oozing with energy and testosterone! I love it!
I was about to give this a quick brush off as the first track is pretty much synth wave by the numbers. Fortunately I just let it keep playing as the rest of the album has a much grittier and unique sound.
Similar to me with Dan Terminus' Automated Refrains. The first track _eventually_ gets going and I was all, "this is nice. pleasant. not really what i'm after..."
Then, without warning, Margaritifer kicks it's way in like a 5-piece cyborg hit squad after a light knock on the door... SOLD
Ahh, well it's a good thing I found your comment when I did. I shall stay tuned.
My thoughts exactly. I only didn't turn it off because I was doing work and didn't want to be distracted... and boy am I grateful!
OMG Thanks to youtube recommendation
Ohhh, this is stellar!
I've been listening to this on Google Play. Not usually my thing, but I found this quite enjoyable. So I'm surprised UA-cam recommends it to me too.
My goodness. What an epic album.
This is the most epic janitor I ever heard)
Great workout music
Just discovered this, Now I'm hooked
Thank you UA-cam recommended!
*[perp walks intensifies]*
A deep cleansing with the fire of a thousand suns is sure to get that stain out of your society.
A lot of edge in these replies I'm surprised nobody has cut themselves. Obviously Monster Killer and Eustace Humess are taking Eddie's comment too seriously.
Get it right all societys bathe my eyes in neon then i wont mind the dystopia
My favourite music to play Kehrmaschinen-Simulator 2011
26:36 love this one!!!
This is the most metal synthwave I've ever heard. Thrash beats and blast beats galore!!!
My favorite synthwave album of all time.. congratulations, Street Cleaner, you have surpassed Lazerhawk. May my spirit be by your side, as you clean the streets..
This inspired me to upgrade my earbuds. Need some premium gear for this . beauty...
I have listened to this about 20 times in the last week, so freaking awesome!!!
Perfect for my Shadowrun game today. Thanks!
It's awesome!)
BRILLIANT album!!
Me encanta escuchar cuando voy caminando por la calle ver la metrópolis como una verdadera ciencia ficción si hablamos de instrumentos el teclado revolucionó todo en sonidos
