I think that the main issue is that Wendy feels like she was being used by her sister’s friend to get Nneka on the show so she curved her. However, production brought her on the show as “Ashley’s friend” and that let Wendy know what time it was. Therefore, to keep Nneka from getting any attention, she’s decided to go with the narrative of not knowing her. However, Nneka is an obvious fan of the show who came in ready to align with whatever side she needed to and it’s getting to Wendy. I wish Wendy would just be honest about knowing of her but not being close friends. It would’ve shut Nneka’s plan down much quicker. 🤦🏾♀️

I am surprised that NO ONE has caught that honestly Gizelle is the real culprit here destroying the show. She is the Exec who got Nekka on the show to DESTROY Wendy (because she is more of Wendy's equal) and us NOT look at Robin's real mess. Because she is still in charge, it is uneven still and the show needs to be cancelled.
The reason Nneka still gives me the ick is because she came in hot with the witchcraft stuff. I think it’s painting Nigerians with the “other” brush. As soon as more than one is in the group suddenly we’re talking about witchcraft and voodoo. It seems very weaponized that she wanted to paint Wendy and her mother with you’re creepy/scary/foreign brush. We know it’s tough being an immigrant or a first gen kid. I’m a black american so it’s not my background, but I feel like this falls into that awkward tension between respectability politics worrying about how the group is perceived v people are unique and allowed to be weird or assholes w/o the whole community being involved.
