No sub 200cc scooter comes close to the Burgman. It's absolutely the best in it's category and class. It's also extremely hardy and reliable. I own one and only do whats essentially basic servicing and maintenance. Use it as a daily rider and part time delivery work. It still runs great after 4 years.
Nice review! I am a fan of the Burgman 200, and you accurately showed its capabilities. A couple additions I made: a Puig windshield extension (does a great job in quieting the wind noise) and a Corbin seat (WAY more comfortable than the stock seat). My fuel read-out is always a bit optimistic, but I consistently see 80 to 85 mpg in a mix of riding.
@@captainjim605 thanks for the feedback my friend, I do appreciate you! My wife and I have recently been looking at the Corbin seats, so many options for color and stitching etc. and they look really comfortable 👍🏻
@@vtxfan The Corbin seat is a definite upgrade on this scoot. I can ride all day without that dreaded "burning tailbone" that I would get from the stock seat. One of those pricey-but-worth-it purchases. A video about the Corbin: ua-cam.com/video/e-5Cy18Uxek/v-deo.html
I feel the sweetspot on this bike on the freeway is 65mph. A bit too high in the revs for me once over that, but it will do it no problem. I'm 132 lbs so I guess it can carry me faster than someone say 50lbs heavier. I do notice it runs better as the temps get higher. I bought it used only thing I did was change to City Grip 2 tires, not cheap but very very very good upgrade over stock IRC. No need for givi trunk as the underseat is massive. anywhere 73 to 80 mpg is what I got.
Only thing I would suggest upgrading right away on these is the brake disks they are very thin and warp in no time, some thicker brembo disks are available for the 200
@@MarkSalisbury-qi2vw my pleasure, thanks for the feedback.. yeah that app is free, and is simply called “Speedometer” which I found in the Apple app store 😎👍🏻

My helmet large and wifes medium fit under my seat. What phone mount you got, i need one! Irony of this scooter is that has a glovebox but my 22 miata did not have one, lol
@@vtxfan sadly mine was stolen and once recovered by the police it was destroyed. I'm in the market for another one but can't find one at a decent price yet. I'm not giving up hope tho
Sorry to hear that, but I bet you could leverage a good deal, especially if the dealer believes that you can get a used one cheap… that might even be a good idea too

@@PRSer Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad to hear the long-term info! Suzuki makes a great bike 😎👍🏻
I do UberEats on Yamaha 125 scooter, but want to move up to this as it has a much longer wheelbase and more power.
Great video, thanks for making it! I enjoyed it!!I’ve also owned the 650 and 400 and believe it or not, this is my favorite of the three.
@@richvogel6902 Glad you enjoyed it! It’s an incredible little machine for sure 😎👍🏻
My 2013 is still going strong. Great scoot.
@@howleh that’s awesome, and I’m not at all surprised, the Suzuki build quality just seems to hit different 😎👍🏻

I have one of these and love it. I also have a scout and road glide, but love this scooter.
Congrats on some fine bikes, I “borrow” the scoot often, huge fun factor 🤩
I dig the long wheelbase

True that on the freeway, 55-65 feels right. I do love how it handles city traffic; not having to pull the clutch and shift constantly is NICE 👍🏻

Thanks for the input, the rotor does seem to need a gym membership ;)
