Siren Ambiance - Alert (w/ Bonus) - Story City, IA - 5/21/22

While I was on my way to the RM-127 in Story City, IA, I decided to place my audio recorder by some railroad tracks to try to get a cool ambiance. It was quite risky placing my audio recorder by the railroad tracks due to the fact that a train could have gone by and ruined the recording but luckily that didn't happen. Since I got an ambiance recording of the RM-127 & STL-10, decided to place my audio recorder between the RM-127 & P-10 this time. I purposely placed my audio recorder closer to the P-10 due to it being reverse-wired & producing less siren coverage. Well, despite that, the RM-127 was STILL louder! This video is a perfect example to show how much a penetrator/allertor can be affected when it's reverse-wired. Though, I think the wind was another reason due to the fact that it was in favor of the RM-127 on this day. The RM-127 & P-10 sound really cool together due to the fact that they harmonize. Something that I didn't notice until I listened to this recording with headphones is that you can actually hear the STL-10 as well which I thought was really cool! It's very faint but you can hear it pretty well due to its rather low pitch. Before you go complaining to me that I should've placed my audio recorder between all 3 sirens, I assumed that the STL-10 was still shut off after the last time I came to this town. The last time I came to Story City, the STL-10 was mysteriously shut off for some reason. I guess between then and now, it was turned back on. Overall, I thought that today turned out great since I got a pretty nice harmonizing ambiance recording. As for the bonus part of this video, I ended up re-uploading my last ambiance recording of Story City's sirens due to me accidentally deleting the original video from my channel. Since I coincidentally deleted the original video when I was about to upload this recording, I figured that I should just add it as a bonus to this video instead. That's all I gotta say for now.
