How much? That’s what’s going to define this controller’s success in a market full of some overpriced controllers. This will be a one of a kind controller so I imagine it won’t be cheap. Also gorilla hands like myself might have to miss out but we’ll see when the time comes. Here’s hoping it’s a reasonable price they slap on it. Another thing I need to stress as someone with hands and shoulder issues, is that an issue with hitboxes is that it rounds the shoulders due to the range of the buttons being close together. If there is a way to widen the range (split is asking for too much but anything close to that would be incredible), then this thing would be worth it for all of us in terms of longevity.
I believe their V1 was quite pricey because it was factory constructed/injection molded. Their website seems to be running now and they are advertising a black printed version which should be much less expensive. I am guessing they will be using 3D print going forward since the price would have been a huge barrier in the past. Or maybe they will use 3D print until they establish the concept and brand before offering a premium build.
Is it fish? Is it a Kirby? It's a Vertibox!
