I love that you can create your own art museum with your stamps. My Son will probably be shocked with the number of stamps and first day covers I have. I hope he passes them ontobhis children.
I was going to sell my old stamps that I haven't look at for twenty years. I was so socked that I could hardly get anything for them. I have an album of plate block from 1951 to 1964 full, and I was only offered $30. I can go on and on. So I decided to keep them and Catalog them and see what I had. I am having fun cataloging, I didn't realize that I had some beautiful stamps.
People like those more if they were from the 1800's. I do believe there is one of a celebrate of a lady smoking a cigarette that has big value. Her son was not happy of her on a stamp with a cigarette and pulled them off but some are still out and has very big value. Other then that for that time period not much for value.
Well in this video dear Doris is don't value at all are so comun ever if been in perfect condition. I have so many of those in perfect condition as well as used and having it for trade with other collecting people I more enjoy trade because the benefit is tremendous great example how going to sell this Yorktwon stamp in perfect condition when I know the value for the catalog is .65 cent and used is .25 cent and this broken is cero cent so the idea of trade is great because If you have something I am interesting to trade for something you have interesting both benefit with the trade remember in trade you put the value for other the same thing you want have don't value at all
Love all the education you are giving my Ernesto on U.S. Stamps.Do you check out other stamps from other countries? Some of my more recent upload are more interesting with greater value. My like page on facebook for philatelist has all the new update so you don't have to go looking in all the videos here in this channel. It's at facebook.com/StampCollectionVideos/ hope to get collectors to check them out and let me know more about them. Thank you so very much for all your comments and now it's time for that morning cup of coffee.LOL Thanks!
Sir, collection doesn't always means collecting stamps of more value,,,,stamp collection sometimes is driven by the aesthetic value of the event in the stamp, + the quality of the pic.depicted in it,its beauty....it's printing quality...it's colour...etc...just compare a century old stamp of any country & a one in present ..it will sure declassify
Scott #703( first day of issue oct. 19-1931 ) is only worth .25 cents in used condition...and .35 cents- .50 cents in mint ...according to Scott catalogue 2016...by the way the one you have is a "faulty condition " and is worth NOTHING !!!!!!!
Although all of the stamps you show are common, and hold no real value monetarily, they represent a rich and wonderful story of a great nation. That is the treasure...the joy you get from looking at them.
Doris Anne Beaulieu estoy empezando la colección de estampillas pero e mirado muchas parecidas a las de valor que tengo se que hay diferentes estoy siguiendo tus videos para aprender algo bueno de ti saludos preciosa
There are a a lot of stamp collectors out here that cringe when you try to talk about stamps. The stamps you are showing are damaged and dirty. Sorry.......very little value. Do yourself a favor and purchase a Scott catalog. That would help you.
I applaud you for making these videos on stamps. I would love to see more of the 1983 Columbus stamps, or the 1898 Trans-Mississippi issues.

Just a note: do not collect stamps with postmarks consisting of multiple straight or wavy lines. Those are the worst postmarks of all.

That is awesome!
Has there ever been a stamp membership club. A proximity within its self to whereby member can learn from each other. Thank you!
I use these types of stamps to make litter for my hamsters. lol
Thang you. Miss.DORIS. ANNEY
Your very welcome!
the trans-missisipi is never used so its worth its book value but it has tears so it will be worth a little over used condition

what do you think the value is on the Yorktown 2 Cent stamp if it wasn't damaged?
+richcali21 I have no idea. I'm just showing what i have collected so people can see how our history use to make them with such details.

Not a single stamp was rare and most were damaged. Doris, sorry but you are clueless. Wow, I'm shocked at how uninformed your vidoes are.
