  • I bought the vortex glass pack pro, Alaska guid creations max, Badlands XR, and the Eberlestock Recon to find out what binocular harness was the best. I wanted one that could do it all including cary 15 power binoculars and even my Maven 18x56. This is the best binocular harness in my opinion.

The Glasspak Pro is such a great deal. Quality build and it includes the range finder pouch. Initially, I wanted a Marsupial but I would've spent $70 more if I bought the the harness and range finder pouch separately.

You may not know this so I'll help if I can... The Eberlestock, along with almost every other popular binocular harness, does not come with a place to carry a rangefinder. This is because it is a system! It is made to use with the accessories that they sell for it. One of them is, of course, a rangefinder pouch. This is true of Marsupial, T&K, Kuiu, FHF, Stone Glacier, Mystery Ranch, Outdoor Vision, Eberlestock, and I am sure I am leaving some out. The point is, it is more unusual for a bino harness to come with a rangefinder pouch than it is for it to not come with one. That is a bonus for the Alaska Guide Creations, Vortex, and Badlands pack you tried in the video. But, every bino harness I listed that doesn't come with a rangefinder pouch, absolutely blows the badlands and vortex packs you showed out of the water and it isn't even close. That is why they are more expensive and you have to purchase a rangefinder pouch separately. Except for the Alaska Guide Creations. That one deserves to be in the same category as the Eberlestock and all the others I listed. I understand if price is an issue for you but in no way is the vortex or badlands even close to being on par with the other two. So in my opinion those were not even a fair comparison. I think you settled on the right one with the Eberlestock though so you came out good either way. Nice video man and good luck this year!

Ok thanks! I'll check it out. I think I may have seen an add for it but yeah I don't know anything about that one.

Is that vortex harness the small or large size?

@@NotchingTags does it seem overly bulky when you only have 10×42s in there?

It's been a while since I made that video but I don't remember thinking it was bulky at all. If your only using 10x42s I'm sure the small would be just fine
