Hey Lia - I've been through some of what this child went through. Constantly forgetting how cruel the mother is when someone else comments otherwise, or because the mother "puts on an affectionate personality", is called Stockholm Syndrom - it's a coping mechanism, characteristic of abuse. To anyone who sees this...be on the lookout, as you could save someone's life.
My friends mom does this. I told adults but nobody is doing anything. I have a feeling she might be giving up now and I have no idea what to do. (btw im a middle schooler)

It’s obvious that the mom in this story didn’t want to be a parent either, and was stressed out at having to care for herself and her child. Seeing the dairy most likely made her mad because she saw herself as holding it together and her daughter was being unappreciative.

It’s obvious that the mom in this story didn’t want to be a parent either, and was stressed out at having to care for herself and her child. Seeing the dairy most likely made her mad because she saw herself as holding it together and her daughter was being unappreciative.
